We stayed at Phi Phi Natural Resort for one night as a family of four (two adults and two children) and left with a very positive impression. We booked a pool villa, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and very well designed. The rustic, ecological style feels intentional and appropriate for the setting, blending nicely with the surrounding nature. The location itself is special — peaceful, scenic, and easy to reach via the resort’s partner ferry service. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel welcome. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the team was eager to help with tours, logistics, and anything we needed to settle in. The beach is beautiful, with great snorkeling right off the shore, and it is also a fantastic place to watch the sunset. The most memorable part of our stay, however, was the care and flexibility shown when our youngest son (12) became unwell with a stomach issue. The staff was exceptionally attentive and proactive, constantly checking on us, helping adjust tour schedules, and being very flexible with departure timing. We felt genuinely supported. I would especially like to recognize Chintana from guest relations, who did an outstanding job assisting us during this situation. Once our son started feeling better, we were able to fully appreciate the resort and enjoy our time there. This level of service truly made a difference. We would definitely recommend Phi Phi Natural Resort and would be happy to return.

We booked this hotel last-minute on Agoda, and the listing mainly showed rooms, so we thought that’s what we were getting. However, when we arrived, we learned that most of the property is actually made up of villas, which offer a very different experience. The standard rooms were clean and comfortable, but a bit smaller than we expected from the online photos. They’re also set further back from the main pool, beach, and restaurant areas. 🚶 Mobility Tip The property is quite large. You’ll either be walking quite a bit or calling for a shuttle car to move around. If you have mobility challenges, the distance between areas might be an issue, especially if staying in the hotel rooms - so better pay extra and book villa. 🏡 Upgrade to a Villa A Game Changer We decided to upgrade to a villa, and it completely transformed our stay. The villas are spacious, beautifully designed with natural wood, and cleaned daily with fresh linens. They offer much more space and privacy. Even better, the villas are easier to access on foot so if mobility is a consideration, choosing a villa makes things much more manageable. Do bring mosquito repellent, as the villas are surrounded by greenery. 🌊 Quiet Location + Perfect for Snorkeling The hotel is located in the northern part of the island, a very calm and quiet area. It’s perfect if you’re looking to relax, switch off, and enjoy some nature. It’s also perfectly located to reach nearby snorkeling spots like Rantee Bay and Bamboo Beach, known for their clear waters and marine life. 🍴 Food, Facilities & Highlights • The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of delicious options. • There’s a useful on-site supermarket for snacks, drinks, or supplies. • We often walked along the beach to enjoy tasty, fresh seafood in nearby local restaurants. • The massage services on-site were fantastic some of the best massages we’ve had in Thailand. ✅ Final Thoughts We stayed three nights, switch for a villa, everything fell into place. The staff were kind, the vibe was peaceful, and the surroundings were perfect for both chilling out and exploring. Just a note: the villa option may not be obvious when booking online, so it’s worth looking into if you want more space, comfort, and convenience. And if you’re OK with a bit of walking or using the shuttle, this place is a beautiful, quiet escape worth discovering.

We have nothing to complain about. Everything just works. We were allowed to move rooms with a better view. They took our request with a smile. I can highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful stay at Phi Phi.

“Beautiful Stay at Ko PhI Phi”

Phi Phi has many beautiful beaches and the beach by Phi Phi Natural is no exception. The resort itself has a private beach as well with many sections for great snorkeling. The resort makes great use of the natural beauty as well as beautiful landscaping. It does require some walking to get around but we didn’t mind. A golf cart is available during the day if you need a ride anywhere. The main pool is right by the beach as is the restaurant for breakfast. Sunsets are beautiful from a higher point in the resort looking westward and worth viewing at least once. Low season seemed to close some of the resort’s restaurants. One restaurant may have been open for lunch but we opted for noodles from the resort’s convenience store which generally has good prices for most items. We ate dinner once at the beach restaurant. Service was good as was the food. We opted to eat other meals at restaurants further down the beach. The resort requires a speed boat or private boat to reach it from Tonsai/ main pier. The speed boat runs several times a day but the last boat leaves at 4 pm. This also made the area less crowded compared to the main town. Our bungalow was spacious with comfortable beds and The in room air conditioning struggled at times to cool the space but managed after an hour. Some of the windows and the front door didn’t completely seal which also affected the inside temperature. Like most rooms in the area, power in the room only worked when the room key was installed in a slot by the door which meant everything but the room fridge turned off when we left and locked our bungalow. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We rented a snorkel gear for a few days and a kayak one afternoon. They also helped us book transfers back to main pier and our next destination, Koh Kanta. This area is fairy expensive compared to other nearby beaches such as Railay and Koh Lanta, especially dining out and buying souvenirs. We liked the area but the higher overall prices will make us less likely to return except for a special occasion. Some of the larger bungalows and chalets had private or shared pools Tips There are no ATMs around this part of the island. We bought cash with us, used a credit card at the hotel convenience stores or charged items to our rooms. Snorkel in the morning during the higher tide. The beach is rocky to get in and out of.
