Stayed at Karon Beach Pool Villas this May with a bunch of friends—and honestly, we had a blast. Yes, it’s a bit tucked away from the main buzz, but once you’re inside, the space makes up for the distance. The villas are beautifully done—clean aesthetics, thoughtfully designed rooms, and plenty of breathing space. The private pool was the hero of our stay—rain or shine, it was always inviting. Each room felt like a standalone retreat, and the bathrooms? Let’s just say some of us spent more time in there than planned. The kitchen and common spaces were perfect for late-night catchups, and the greenery around added to the tropical calm. If you’re looking to zone out, reset, and bond with your people—this one’s got the vibe. Would I go back? In a heartbeat. Just with a rented scooter or a plan for longer rides.

Had such a relaxing week in this villa. 3 bedrooms all with bathrooms. The pool is full sized and has a lovely gazebo. There is no pool fence - something to consider if you have small children. The lounge room is a good size and full sized fridge and kitchen. The air-conditioners work well in all rooms. There is a washing machine but no dryer. A dryer would have been helpful. We found that there was barely anywhere to have breakfast as most places don’t open until 10 or 11. The Villa did not offer breakfast which was a shame. You could buy food and cook or go out to have a late breakfast. There is a hill to climb if you want to walk to the Main Street. It’s a very quiet area so feels safe and the roads are wide and in good condition. We had no issues ordering transport using Grab. It is a fair hike to the beach so recommend using transport which only takes a few minutes to get to the beach. The Main Street with bars, shops, spas and restaurants is about 10-15 minutes walk. It is close to a huge temple which has twice weekly fabulous night market (Tuesday and Friday). There is an office onsite and staff were fabulous. Serviced daily but towels changed every 3 days, linen a bit tired. Overall it was fabulous. Lovely decor, spacious and well kept. Quiet and safe. Would definitely recommend.

Check in is little forward than the gate, no signs there. Villa is spacious and clean. Although little red ants are everywhere, even in the bed. Check in is little forward than the gate, no signs there. Villa is spacious and clean. Although little red ants are everywhere, even in the bed. They don’t change sheets and towels daily, so after two days it’s not so nice. You don’t get any complimentary water after first day. There isn’t kettle neither. On the last day came administration guy 6:50 am, wanted to check if there are missing glasses or something else broken. Interesting thought of him. And when we started to leave, they took our luggage behind the gate as fast that I felt they didn’t want us there.
