I want to say thank you to the drivers markie mark and ricardo for sharing where to go amongst the locals to eat and educating my husband and I about Bahamas. A special thank you to Darius (butler) for making my husband and I experience top notch everyday was amazing thanks to Darrion he went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience, each night something new was put in our room to ensure we had a romantic evening, also I love the floating breakfast that was awesome. When I requested something Darrion was always 2 steps ahead of me and very detail oriented. A special thank you to Angella and Osjuon I can't thank you all enough for pulling out all the stops to ensure we had a great time, Angella thanks for providing as many drinks our stomach's could hold. Osjuan thank you for your great service and conversations. You guys are the reason I booked another trip through Sandals Next year I will travel to Jamaica around this time. A wonderfully relaxing five days of fun in the sun—well, until it rained on the final day, but that is weather for you, isn’t it? Arriving late afternoon on Mother’s Day, we received our required dose of relaxation and then some. Frankly, I could have endured ten days of it. Our accommodations were what we expected the resort has accommodations for every snack bracket you may have. My tip to you is no matter what accommodations you splurge on, the beach, island, bars, restaurants, activities, and everything else is the same. With squeezing out every minute of the day having fun we barely stayed in our room. From the two pools to the beach and of course the Island you will enjoy and relax every minute you will be on the property. The complimentary beach activities were more than enough to keep us occupied. A seven-minute boat ride to the island revealed two pleasant beaches, a restaurant, and—for those utterly incapable of disconnecting—more than adequate Wi-Fi. With a green flag flying all week, the water was so calm it practically mimicked the Caribbean Sea. Mid-May weather, thankfully, behaved itself. Food-wise, we wanted for nothing, being blessed with unrestrictive palates. Too many restaurants, insufficient days—was a terrible dilemma for us, tongue in cheek. Butch Steakhouse was entirely on point with their signature Striploin, (the Willy Wonka Crème Brûlée is non-negotiable), Le Plume became our every other day breakfast ritual, and the Kanoo buffet actually kept things varied, including a rather splendid Indian lunch. From Gordon's to the Steakhouse you will always find a treat that will dazzle your eyes and make your tummy satisfied. You truly don't need to worry about a thing! And if you need to burn off those calories? They have an awesome fitness centre in the main building top floor. You don't only get a nice workout, but the view is really a treat. Nightly entertainment was excellent as you would expect and the Broadway showcase featured singers and dancers with actual, verifiable talent. Meanwhile, the staff treated us excellently, operating on a delightfully unhurried vacation schedule. We enjoyed the martini bar in main lobby bar where Phillip will make you smile. This marks our third visit in eight months. For a peaceful, colonial-style resort a mere three-and-a-half hours from our front door, it matches many global destinations. Having visited the Bahamas a dozen times now, it is practically a second home. Do check it out. Just remember to leave your worries at the boarding gate. One final note. All staff that we met were fabulous just to mention a few, Simone Grey, Melia, Johnathan and the Sandals Team. 10/10. Looking forward to visiting again for sunshine and happiness!

“Great for relaxing”

My wife and I returned to the Bahamian for 4 nights having visited in 2025 as well. The best part about our trip was the ability and atmosphere to relax . Everyone of the Sandals staff was courteous , friendly and helpful . Other pros : 1. Private island . Get on the boat , take the 5 minute ride to the island and unwind. You can make it a social event at the pool and bar or lounge in a secluded spot under a thatch umbrella . We both had massages ( twice! ) on the island and the sound of the waves really set a relaxing tone . 2.the grounds are lovely, sunsets spectacular . 3: bartenders and staff. The bartenders work their craft and are very accommodating as well as stars of the show ! There were a few cons which is why I didn't give it a five . The food : the menus are fairly limited. There are several restaurants to choose from but a few of the " premium " restaurants require reservations and if you don't have butler service it's difficult to get a reasonable time slot . I do have to state that we had a great dinner at our favorite restaurant there, Kanoo. It was also the location of a good breakfast buffet . The room : we had a constant noise from the a/c in our room and the system itself didn't dehumidify very well so it was a little muggy . All in all , I recommend this all inclusive property . Big tip : east wing quiet and relaxing , west is the party wing
