“Stunning Beach, Beautiful Grounds, Pricey Dining”

The resort itself was absolutely beautiful. The grounds were well maintained, and there was so much to explore. We arrived at a good time, so check-in wasn’t bad at all. Later in our stay, we noticed the lobby getting very crowded, so I think we just got lucky. One disappointment was that our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and we weren’t able to check in early. After traveling, having to wait around for a few hours wasn’t ideal. One of our favorite parts of the resort was the marine life. We loved seeing the stingrays, turtles, and the incredible aquarium throughout the property. The beach was also amazing—clean, beautiful, and easy to access. There weren’t always enough umbrellas and lounge chairs available, but if you were patient, they eventually opened up. We’d stay in the water until one became available, then grab it. We really enjoyed spending long stretches of time at the beach. Our room was spacious, updated, and very clean overall. The only issue was that the shower drain was slow and tended to clog, which was a little frustrating. The biggest downside of the trip was the cost of food and drinks. We quickly realized that dining at the resort was very expensive. For a family of three, meals were typically at least $140, and that’s before adding much in the way of drinks or extras. I also wish there were more affordable and kid-friendly dining options. As adults, we can sometimes wait to eat, but that’s much harder with children. One thing I really appreciated was that after we checked out, our flight wasn’t until much later in the day. The resort provided a place where we could shower and get ready before heading to the airport, which made our last day much more comfortable. We also got lucky with the weather—we left the water just before it started raining, and shortly afterward they had to clear everyone from the pools and water slides. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The beautiful grounds, amazing beach, marine exhibits, and comfortable accommodations made it a memorable vacation. Just keep in mind that while you may find a great deal on the room and tickets, you’ll likely make up the difference in food and drink costs. If you budget for that, you’ll have a fantastic experience.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Coral at Atlantis. Our cleaning lady, Sophie, was absolutely amazing—so friendly, kind, and welcoming. We had such a wonderful stay at The Coral at Atlantis. Our cleaning lady, Sophie, was absolutely amazing—so friendly, kind, and welcoming. We truly loved her, and she made our stay even more enjoyable. The Coral is also in the perfect location. It is close to everything, including the marina shops, casino, pools, beach, marine sanctuary, and rope bridge. The rooms are spacious, and we had a gorgeous ocean view. So much of the activity on the beach happens right in front of The Coral, which made the location even better. We were given the option to upgrade to The Royal, and I am so glad we stayed at The Coral instead. It was convenient, comfortable, and had everything we needed nearby. Sure the resort has its flaws but that’s to be expected and overall we were very pleased! We will definitely stay at The Coral again and cannot wait to come back!

This is quite a complex and felt very safe. Although expensive, the animal encounters and sustainability/educational programs were very positive for our family, and we were willing to pay extra to support the mission. Hotel room was okay - no running water on the island the first day we were there and - although not their fault, enough money is charged that they could have done something to help compensate for that beyond free water for a few hours. We couldn’t shower after our flights, had to walk to get water from the lobby after traveling all day - just not handled that well given the price of the room. Water park was very fun, just crowded. Overall a good stay.
