Beautiful hotel , really clean our room was spotless Couple of recommendations though lots of food but nothing went together. Possibly some theme nights for food. More seats for bars at night time , another bar would be great at the bottom of the hotel. Some alcohol free lager would be good 👍. Staff were excellent 👌 and would like to give a special mention to Walid Ben Abdllah our waiter for 14 days he was was amazing nothing was to much effort for him , lovely man. Excellent at his job. Had a lovely time would I go back Probably not too quiet for us.

“Lovely hotel & staff .. just need to get the level up in the bar”

Lovely welcome from reception & offered a premium suite which was lovely & spacious with nice views. Restaurant food was nice & staff very friendly & attentive ( especially lofti). Pools were great with plenty of space & options. Definitely need more sun loungers & parasols ( it was extremely hot) … more

Lovely welcome from reception & offered a premium suite which was lovely & spacious with nice views. Restaurant food was nice & staff very friendly & attentive ( especially lofti). Pools were great with plenty of space & options. Definitely need more sun loungers & parasols ( it was extremely hot) & only way you get a sun lounger is get up at 6am. The main downside for this lovely 5* hotel is the bar. We had to put a complaint in as we kept getting told no mojito till later, but other guests seemed to be getting them. It was addressed by reception & we had no more issues getting them ( even tho we felt the bar person didn’t handle the situation afterwards in a professional manor) Also getting served in plastic glasses inside the bar was a big let down both for cocktails & lager. We felt the majority of the team on the bar didn’t really seem to want to be there & service with a smile was not the best. Shame as the team throughout this lovely hotel were a great asset even the pool attendants where always happy to say hello & help you try & find sun loungers.

One of the main reasons for us choosing this hotel was their publicised a-la-carte restaurant, serving Tunisian specialities and seafood. You could pay to eat there instead of the main buffet restaurant. When we were checking in, I asked if I could book immediately for the next available day. “It is closed for the Summer,” I was told. This was contrary to the TUI documentation, and rather annoying. THE ROOM. We were taken to our second-floor room, which was spacious. To our disbelief (the hotel is 5-star), the room (2213) had absolutely no cupboards into which we could unpack our two cases. There was one tiny cupboard about two foot across (see my photo) with a single shelf. It had space for about 5% of our clothes. By now, you will be wondering why I awarded four stars to the hotel, but… The next day I visited reception, displaying my photo, and requesting a room change. We were almost immediately transferred to Room 2417. What an improvement! It had plentiful cupboards, and an extra room. The sea view, from the higher floor, was very much better. THE FOOD. We took all our hotel meals in the SELF buffet restaurant. There was no bacon at breakfast, in customary accordance with the local religion. The available fruit was excellent: water melon, honeydew melon, peaches, oranges, etc… In particular, the oranges were the best I have ever tasted – around 95% juice. The pastries, croissants etc.., were OK. The cereals were varied, but mostly of seed size. The coffee was from machines that ground the beans – top class! Lunch and Dinner presented a good variation, including plenty of fish. A small minus was that the long-line selection of starters and desserts had very few descriptions attached. You could not tell if one was fish- or vegetable-based. The restaurant was very spacious, with tables wide spaced. The service was good. The BARS were fine, with the main indoors one serving a wide range of cocktails. THE POOLS, BEACH and SEA. The three pools were excellent, including an infinity one, facing the sea. The sun umbrellas were the biggest and best we have ever seen. The loungers had thick mattresses and were delightfully comfortable. We favoured an umbrella location beyond the infinity pool, with a wonderful view of the Mediterranean (see photo). The water temperature of both the pools and sea was ideal at the time of our visit (early June). On most days the Med was smooth as a mill pond. THE GARDENS. I must end with a mention of the beautiful gardens on site. Countless different flowers and flowering bushes/trees. A delight!
