Where do I start............ This is an honest review - from an experienced traveler who has visited many hotels. I will start with the pro's The Pool areas are nice - Got to be up early to get a lounger though - lots gone at 6:30am - unless you pay the lifeguard - then he will reserve you some (I never paid as up early anyway) - Areas always kept clean and Pool bar at Salt water Pool Great. The beach is clean in hotel area with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Watersports on beach very reasonably priced - around £23 for 15 mins on jet ski, same for parasailing, Crazy Horse Chair £7 each - We did them all and they are very good value for money. People trying to sell stuff on beach but just say no if not interested. The weather is great - barely saw a cloud and around 33 deg every day. Now - lets talk about the actual hotel.... It is NOT 5* so do not expect anything other than an average 3* - We had bungalows and they are outdated. Ours had wardrobe door missing, broken washing line, aircon not working, Lots of ants around fridge, Stained bathroom tiles - Our son's had safe not working - for the whole week (reported it many times) not a big issue as we used the one in our room but not great! - Aircon not working in their room, which was rectified after 2 days - no robes or slippers, and cats sleeping on swim shorts on the balcony every day (we like cats but not everyone does!) Food - lots of choice but Luke warm at best and lacked flavour, not replenished enough if it was cooked fresh and flies everywhere - all on the salad etc. etc. - We realise there is not a lot anyone can do about flies with the restaurant doors being open all the time but I personally do not want to share my food with flies. Never tried the other restaurants as menus did not suit us but it all looked pretty much the same. Drinks - ok, not great but ok - we had coke Xero where we could as this comes in sealed bottles - all the others are from machine with wasps and flies. Water available in bottles at every bar and also put in the room daily. - we had other drinks in mini bar - Fanta and lemonade but no bottle opener in our room - we didn't want the drinks but there should of been an opener! Beach bar dire! - loads of waiters standing around behind bar doing nothing, no clean cups, wasps everywhere (all over the pre-made cocktails and soft drinks) - Waiters in other areas working extremely hard all day long. Entertainment - mediocre - few games in daytime and some shows in a hot room in the evenings, dancing, live singer circus act etc. - ok for children I guess - Man on DJ just sits vaping all night - we endured it for a few nights but after witnessing an older waiter named Murad (who was in his 60's) speaking very inappropriately to 2 women on their own - we gave it a miss - He was asking them questions about their private parts🤔If they had hair, and estimating whether theirs were big or small and then informing them he had a big Zebi (google it?) - Whilst the women were initially happy to joke with him - they then told him to go away as the jokes became somewhat darker (as did we in a not very polite way) This man should be acting professionally surely ! There are a couple of places to visit but just selling cheap tat in very busy areas and flies are in abundance there! We also tried a couple of times to eat out but although it was very cheap it was underwhelming at best. Apart from the dirty waiter every other person we met were very kind and pleasant. We went for the sun and relaxing - which was nice and all in all we had a good holiday but I wouldn't return.

Here at the moment, this is our 3rd time , and I am sorry to say probably the last . Things have changed a bit from last year .Good points Food Staff Drinks Beautiful grounds Lovely beach Great swim up bar . So , what is it that has disappointed me this year . Firstly the room we did ask for a room near the amenities and this was granted but out of all the rooms we could have got we the darkest ,smelliest room , no natural light due to a large tree outside , which of course had birds , who pooed all over , only 2;small lamps to light room on an evening , Cleaners , park their trollies outside the door from 8 am at 1 pm still there ,no chance of peace and quiet , got to manoeuvre around carts , cots to get to door and listen to the constant chatter etc , cleaning standards are questionable, towels are always still damp or ignored.no bathrobes or slippers and when I asked at reception for them , I knew I was being giving lip service and sure enough had to chase that up later in the evening Entertainment, the team are excellent however for some reason you can only see the entertainment in the back of the hotel inside , where last year , it was out in the terrace and very enjoyable to sit outside and watch shows , cooler . Shout out to all waiters at the bar staff / restaurant especially issam think that's his name very good very attentive , I know I could have asked for a room change but this would just cause hassle I had already alerted the hotel to my husbands disability and this would have caused more stress , so , although disappointed we will put up with it . I think next year we will try another hotel in Hammanet there are plenty more to choose from .
