We have just returned from this wonderful idyllic hotel. Everything was amazing, staff very welcoming and friendly, food was excellent with a large choice and something for everyone. “Excellent stay as always”

The professionalism of the staff make this such a wonderful experience - especially this time Polina (Guest Relations) and Özgür (everywhere). The flight times to and from the UK are the only downside of this holiday which is outside the control of the hotel. The food in the à la carte restaurant… more

The professionalism of the staff make this such a wonderful experience - especially this time Polina (Guest Relations) and Özgür (everywhere). The flight times to and from the UK are the only downside of this holiday which is outside the control of the hotel. The food in the à la carte restaurants and main restaurant was better than previous years. The pizzas from the bar were also lovely. See you next year!

“Exceeding expectations”

We were looking for a relaxing break and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Very well appointed suites, friendly and attentive staff and beautiful facilities provided us with everything we were looking for. A real “get away from it all” experience. We will be returning.

My friends and I have just returned from another stay at this hotel. We have been coming here for over a decade due to the excellent staff, facilities and location. On this occasion we visited on the 1st week of May (we usually visit end of April). The journey from Bodrum airport is about 1 hour 15 mins. We visited Gumbet one evening which is about 35 mins away by taxi - I wouldn't recommend it unless you're coming in the summer months as it was dead. As always, Ibrahim / Alperen and their reception staff arranged excellent rooms for us. They took time to greet us whenever we ran into them during our stay which was a nice touch. The best thing about this hotel is the incredible sea views you can enjoy from practically anywhere on the grounds. We had 4 rooms situation right next to the smaller side pool. The views from our room were incredible and one of the highlights of our stay. The rooms are equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and the cleaning staff keep the entire hotel spotless. The rooms contain a mini-bar full of soft drinks and water (replenished daily). Toiletries like shower gel, shampoo etc are also provided in the bathroom and replenished daily. Our rooms had an additional seating / lounge area which we loved. We made use of the main restaurant buffet for most of our meals and also tried out the pool side lunch menu + the room service / late night menu. I think due to the lack of guests the options seemed a bit more limited than before. However, everything was of good quality and the staff at the dining locations were all super friendly and helpful. We used the games room most days which contains a pool table, Playstations, darts board and table tennis. They also have some bowling lanes and a large screen showing the football in the sports bar attached to the games room. Special mention to Zainab in the animation team who was super friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay. She went out of her way to engage with us and make our stay more entertaining. We were also pleased to see that our feedback from the previous visit had been noted and the gym contained some upgraded treadmills and a revised layout. This was a good improvement. The swimming pools are spectacular with incredible sea views. The private beach area is also great and has it's own bar. There is an indoor heated pool for those that need it too. There are plenty of sunbeds and several jetty / sunbathing areas around the hotel. Including some amazing scenic spots where you can go straight into the sea. There is a watersports area down by the beach if you want to book jet-skis, boats etc. We usually book a boat trip but on this occasion the boat was in for repairs so we couldn't which was a shame. Now to mention a couple of negatives which we feel have impacted the high class feel of this hotel: (1) During our whole week there was no waiter service for the sunbeds by the main pool (despite multiple staff "working" behind the pool bar). Previously, the hotel had QR codes on the tables by the sunbed and waiters would deliver your drinks and also take orders for drinks. When we flagged this to the guest relations via the whatsapp - we were repeatedly told there should be waiting staff going round but this never materialised. This was a massive disappointment compared to our previous visits and definitely ruins the high class vibe of the hotel. (2) The Sports Bar drinks selection (which has always been limited) was further limited on this visit as the blender was broken meaning no cocktails. Surely this should have been addressed prior to re-opening. (3) As mentioned before, we usually visit at the end of April which is the first week the hotel usually re-opens. However, this time, even though we came later it seemed the hotel was still not fully ready to re-open. We have visited on literally the first day of re-opening before and everything has been up and running. But on this occasion, even though we came later there seemed to be some issues. The QR code issue + lack of waiter service at the pool bar for example were noted as issues related to "just re-opening". There was also no outdoor grill area which is usually one of the highlights of dinner at the main buffet restaurant. There were also a lot of building / repair works which we had never seen here before - again, surely something that could have been done prior to re-opening. (4) The laundry service is no longer included in 1 week stays (only ironing is free) and is now chargeable. This is a big downgrade from our previous visits and again ruins the previous high class feel of the hotel. Overall, this is still a fantastic hotel for anyone wishing to enjoy a relaxing break with amazing sea views and great facilities. However, we hope the hotel will look to address the negative elements we experienced on this visit to make sure the hotel remains a truly high class establishment.
