“Ideal for a cheap holiday in the sun”

Great location close to all amenities. Was quiet when we arrived so not a lot of atmosphere but perfect for a relaxing holiday. It got busier as the week went on and the atmosphere really picked up. Great location close to all amenities. Was quiet when we arrived so not a lot of atmosphere but perfect for a relaxing holiday. It got busier as the week went on and the atmosphere really picked up. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with plenty of space, and are cleaned daily. We did have to ask for more toilet paper for the room and after speaking to other guests, we aren't the only ones. The food is quite limited, but not sure if that's because we are here when it's quiet, and we managed to get enough to eat. There isn't much for children here so I'd say it's better for couples and friends. Hotel was cheap compared to a lot of others so you don't expect a lot from it. Staff are really friendly, we especially loved Diego/Yasin from the animation team as he was so friendly and made us feel so welcome.

Staying at this hotel was a very pleasant experience. Just right next to the beach, on the other way road to the shopping area. Beautiful views everywhere. Additionally great food. Staying at this hotel was a very pleasant experience. Just right next to the beach, on the other way road to the shopping area. Beautiful views everywhere. Additionally great food. My fave parts were the desserts, freshly baked flat breads and lots of fresh vegetables. The room was nice and clean. Can get cold at night when the weather gets worse. But what makes the place so great are the people. The animation team will keep you entertained no matter if you are 6 or 60 years old. Mario, Hatice, Deniz and many others do their best to make you feel special. I also have to mention our fave bartenders - Orhan and Muhsin. Teşekkürler. There are many more fantastic people but i don't have enough space here to mention all their names. Our stay at Ayaz Aqua was a week long vacation, but after meeting these lovely people i wish i could stay there even longer.

Overall, the experience was ok. The entrance and reception area were welcoming. Reasonable food options, nice view from the hotel room. The in-house tour guide was very helpful in advising on the best excursions for us. Most of the housekeeping and restaurant staff I came across did not speak English, so at times making requests was a challenge without using my translation app. Things that I feel were below par: • at times the cleanliness of the towels and linen were questionable. The smell made me wonder if visually clean towels from rooms where guests had checked out were just recycled in other rooms. They had a snack bar which offered fresh burgers and fries with recycled salads from the lunch buffet. The soap dispenser was giving brown stained soap despite being aqua blue in colour. On closer inspection, the spring in the dispenser had rusted, hence what was coming out. Not pleasant, and glad that I always carry my own toiletries. There were quite a few areas of water and cosmetics damage in the room, which I cannot understand why it wasn't fixed during off-season, as the hotel had only just reopened the week of my visit. Outside of the hotel, we also went on a boat ride which was boring. The fishermen definitely made it feel like it was an "our boat and we do as we please" situation. As a non-smoker, it was very off putting and offensive to be sitting behind the boat driver whose smoke kept blowing back into my face. They were catering for themselves offering each other hot beverages and tourists only received a hot drink when they asked. Cold beverages were offered at a cost and a running tab and hot drinks had were added to the tab, which was fine, but if you are billing for all beverages, why not just offer it to begin with? I feel that staff at the hotel tried their best to accommodate despite the language barrier. Not sure I would visit this hotel again, but would definitely visit Turkey again.
