Dorman Suites Hotel

“Lovely clean, comfortable apartment with a gorgeous pool & gardens.”

The apartments were like a little oasis in the heat. Facilities were clean, gardens lovely & staff friendly. Beautiful pool. Walking distance to beaches (not the most fantastic but water was lovely), loads of restaurants and a few market shops. Had use of loungers at the first hotel along the beach.

This was my first time in Turkey. We went with family who also stayed at Dorman Suites (they have been to Bitez many times before) when booking we asked for two rooms close by. This was my first time in Turkey. We went with family who also stayed at Dorman Suites (they have been to Bitez many times before) when booking we asked for two rooms close by. They did this with no issue at all. The swimming pool was lovely and clean, the bar and food was fab perfect for breakfast and lunch. The grounds were clean and beautifully done. The rooms were perfect for what we needed. The Aircon worked fab with each room having its own remote. Beds were super comfy. Lots of room for a family and a big balcony over looking the pool and view! Lots of towels for us. Free pool towels! The WiFi was amazing too worked all over the site no crowding in one spot to try to access the Internet. The staff - I have seen a few reviews about the staff being rude. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Yes, there were a few times with communicating as we are English, but I do not speak Turkish and they do not speak lots of English but we found a way to communicate. They tried their best and always did with a smile. Now the little things that could have been handled better… We needed a cot for our baby, this was in the room when we arrived (perfect) . 1 side was broken. We arrived late so notified staff the following morning, after 3 conversations this was not changed or sorted the WHOLE of our weeks stay. The cleaning of the room. It wasn’t bad however when we moved the single bed to fit the cot in a more suitable space under the bed was filthy it clearly had not been cleaned for a while. The rest of the apartment was clean. As a family with a little one we were back in the apartment at a sensible time. We had just got off to sleep when the phone rang in the room at 23.30pm asking if we had ordered 2 fantas at 4.30/5pm.. we did not but at that time calling about 2 cans of drink is unacceptable. We have arrived home only to be charged for the 2 fantas we did not have!! The invoice states room 508 (and a different name) - we were at 408, they also phoned my parents about these drinks at the same time at night. This needs to be looked into before it happens again. The only thing was we didn’t have any kitchen things without asking (pots and pans/ bowls etc) we asked and it took over an hour for 1 frying pan. I really wish these were already in our room just for ease with a small child it would have helped a lot. Even with these points I would stay again. It’s beautiful, the facilities were kept clean and not busy. No fighting for sun beds at this place. Yes it wasn’t perfect however I enjoyed our stay here and hopefully will be back next year!
