“A nice change”

I’ve always fancied trying the Binlik and as we were there for less time this year we thought we’d give it a go. It was good, very clean. Food great, breakfast good. We normally stay at the Keskin and although in my opinion the Binlik is not as good as the Keskin .. it was a pleasant stay. The staff work very hard. One girl in particular stands out .. she’s at breakfast from very early working very hard and then runs the pool bar all day.. she’s a real gem. They’re lucky to have her, she never stops. The gent on reception is also great, very pleasant and welcoming and helpful if you need it . The cleaners only a young girl but super hard working and thorough . Chickens roam the grounds which is quite nice to see, especially as one has her babies following her wherever she goes. There are lots of cats … lots!!! If you’re not a cat person, the Binlik is maybe not for you. They can fight over food and beg at your table if eating. (Pool bar) There’s 2 pools, one small and quiet - the other is more popular .. with the bar. Some days round the pool were very peaceful and quiet and others quite rowdy, depending on the guests staying at the time. There was a large young group of couples staying whilst we were there .. who were loud and monopolised the pool. Tipping each other off Sunbeds into the pool, also with glasses of beer at the poolside. Staff didn’t intervene .. but it was a bit much at times. Maybe Marmaris would’ve suited them better. All in all an enjoyable stay in a super clean little hotel with a great location, being 5 minutes to nearest supermarkets and even centre of town. Really enjoyed it..

The hotel is really good value for what you pay . Don't expect a five star experience that you haven't paid for . The rooms are small and very basic . The balcony's are small no table . The rooms in block B looked to have a bigger balcony . The rooms are clean the beds comfy you have plenty of hot water. You have a hair dryer & mini fridge and plenty of wardrobe drawer space . The rooms have air con without extra charge . Safes big & locked behind reception . A small charge . The pool areas are clean plenty of sun beds nice & quiet the bar foods pretty good . The breakfast is more than adequate ( for what you have paid ) thete an egg station outside . The location of this hotels really good . The staff are lovely and helpful . The WiFi is hit & miss but bars are good . Loads of decent places to eat all over Dalyan we preferred to walk left along the river front it's quiter and you can sit against the river feed the turtles. Nearer to the ancient tombs . Dalyan seems to be struggling with tourists this year & they need our support it's a lovely place . Hotel cats/kittens please help if you can they're all starving especially the small black & white cat that's very lame . Save some ham for her if you can ( she's not as quick & gets bullied ) & mamma cat she's also small with mottled brown colours & only 2 vocal kittens they hang out around the pool bar and rooms facing them . I left a lovely lady a bag of dreamies to feed them as we left . Just wish the hotel would have a designated feed station for these animals and maybe ask for feed donations . Also don't presume a dog with a collar has a home like o did once they lose their puppy cuteness they get turfed out . No lifts so if you would struggle with stairs suitcase ask for ground floor . If you walk to the river front each morning you can pay for a water taxi to the beach don't miss the return one though . No booze at beach bar and sun beds payable as it's a turtle sanctuary. Ironically if you get a taxi to the other end of the beach where captain June started her turtle sanctuary ( free & worth 30 min of your time with a donation ) that beach bar does serve beers . The walk to either end of beach is hard going and longer than you think unless young & very fit . Dalyan is a lovely resort old fashioned Turkey with lovely people . The best boat trips swim and stop at beach or the lake are with Atakan D boat on the very left of the river it's a black boat we did the lake this time in horrific weather after a storm his mum makes a fab buffet and despite conditions we loved it . Oh and if you don't want to go far see George at the Doris garden restaurant we had few lovely meals there very close to the hotel . No tea coffee facilities in the room so bring if you need.

Arrived at the Binlik about midnight, check in quick and shown to our room promptly. Room is very dated however everything worked and spotlessly clean. Shower really good. Arrived at the Binlik about midnight, check in quick and shown to our room promptly. Room is very dated however everything worked and spotlessly clean. Shower really good. We were on the ground floor with a small terrace. 2 chairs but no table. The view was not great looked out over next door driveway. Air con worked really well although a bit noisy. Bed slightly hard but comfortable, pillows good, not sure why you only get a thin blanket that has to cover 2 people, although this seems common in Turkey. Didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that. Pool bar found most staff helpful and friendly. Had lunch a few times which was really good. Hotel was quiet as near end of season so no problems getting a lounger although I expect this is more difficult in high season. The hotel is in a great location only 5 minute walk to the town and river although the walk is a bit scary as the roads are busy with speeding bikes, cars, vans etc so need to take extra care. Overall my week in Dalyan was great as always. The location of this hotel made it for us as easy access to everything. Usually spend my two week summer holiday at the Keskin. However for what we needed which was a comfortable base the Binlik worked. My only real negative was the Cockerel that wanders around the grounds. It appears to be on its own and started crowing from 230am, I am a light sleeper so had a week of broken sleep. All in all a great week with my husband in our favourite place
