A peaceful yet powerful place! Stunning views, beautiful coastline, clean air, crystal clear sea! It's windy there, so possible to go sailing and not so hot in the evening. Within a few minute walk from the hotel beach there's a quiet bay, where local people camp, so families with kids can go swimming there if it gets windy or enjoy the swimming pool and water slides. The hotel itself is cosy and there's more vegetation and shade on the premises than it may appear from the photos. There're are four 3-storey blocks. The buildings have an interesting design. All rooms with garden view on the 2d and 3d floors have a sea view, a nice bonus! Rooms are basic, but clean and functional, with lots of shelves and drawers for organizing your stuff. As the maximum number of guests is about 250, the hotel staff give each guest all the attention they need, very friendly and helpful. Foreigners are not frequent guests at the place, so the prices are reasonable. The hotel manager, a few people in reception, and the restaurant manager speak English fluently, and they will help you with anything you need. Very friendly, approachable, positive people! The food is fresh, tasty and varied enough. I loved the natural yogurt, honey, and cheeses. You can get a lot of house soft drinks and hard drinks, including some lovely cocktails from the bar. There's a lot to explore nearby. We will definitely return!:)

“Great place to relax and enjoy a good holiday”

I stayed almost 2 weeks in the Adaburnu Gölmar Hotel with my 12-year old daughter. The hotel is perfect for families as well as for people with no children. The thing I loved the most is that the hotel is spacious built. The area around the 4 buildings and the paths between the restaurant and hotel and beach, you can walk around everywhere, which makes you feel relaxed. The people in the hotel are very friendly. The waiters and chefs in the restaurant make you feel welcome. The buffet changes a lot and every day there is enough to choose from. The cooking is good. The rooms are neat, the beds are good. (Only the shower cabin was a little outdated, but there are different rooms). The buildings are always clean. At the reception they help you with all your questions or with whatever you need. The area around the hotel (the paths, the plants, the pools) is really taken good care off. People work hard and are busy all day to keep it clean, do maintance work and take care of the garden. The beach is next to the hotel. When you walk to the beach there are nice small areas to sit. The beach is only for the hotel guests, which is nice. The view is great. (As well as in daytime as in the evening.) The mountains are pretty and in the evening you can see the centre of Datça in the distance. The pools are much fun. There are normal pools (a small corner for the most little children and other places that are more deep) and great slides. There is a good busconnection to Datça. Most of the day you can go every hour, other moments every 2 hours. In about 20 minutes you are in the center of Datça, which is such a lovely idyllic place. It's cozy but also alive. It has nice places to eat and a pretty sea with boats. You can also take the bus there (from the busstation) to Marmaris for example, if you prefer a bigger city to visit. There are many excursion possibilities with a pickup at the hotel. We went windsurfing and visited the pretty Knidos (with also a daytour in Datça). Everything was well organised. During this crazy Covid-19 period the Adaburnu Gölmar Hotel was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Turkish sun. (The climate was absolutely perfect! Compared to places like Alanya, it was a little less hot and with almost no humidity, we couldn't wish for a better temperature). I would love to come back some other time. We had an amazing holiday.
