We totally enjoyed our stay at the Seabird hotel,it was very pleasant and the staff were brilliant.We had a 2 week stay and the room was really good and cleaned every day and it would have been changed every day if we had wanted it doing.The food was very good and we were only booked in for bed and breakfast,The hotel is situated only a few steps from the beach in a good location,lovely pool with a lift to all floors,we will definitely be going back

“What a wonderful hotel”

I went on holiday June 2019 and after paying a large amount last year for an hotel and not using the services I decided to use the Seabird. What a great move. It was wonderful. My partner suffered a stroke several years ago so uses a wheelchair. Whilst the hotel is not entirely wheelchair friendly he only had to ascend / descend 5 steps to get in and out. I got him out of the chair and by the time I had helped him up or down the steps, the owner, waiter, maid or another guest had carried his chair down. The maids cleaning the rooms were brilliant. When my partner didnt want to get up they passed the clean towels and bedding to me. The hotel was super clean in all areas and the food was very good. The price I paid was really reasonable for a basic hotel but I must admit the Seabird is by far the best hotel I have EVER stayed in and will certainly be returning. Only one criticism is if they cordened off a small area on their drive to stop the cars parking all the way over or reduced the angle of the slope next to the steps in the dining room this would be a totally assessible hotel and an even greater joy to stay at. This hotel is excellent value for the money. If you are looking to catch lots of rays on the beach and do some swimming, this is the place for you. Hülya and her family are super accommodating. The food was an excellent example of typical Turkish cuisine. Our room also had some nice touches. We had a room with a sea view and the views of the Aegean were incredible. If you enjoy, the hustle and bustle of a vacation town, the boardwalk was packed with people.

The location of the hotel is wonderful, its right beside the seafront and offers fabulous views from the sea facing rooms and on the veranda where the sun beds are. The walk to dolphin square is enjoyable and only takes between 10-20 minutes depending on how fast you walk. My first initial thought when entering the hotel was that the décor wasn’t to my taste. It reminded me of an American-esce 1960’s home, other than that though, the hotel was thoroughly clean throughout so I can’t complain. For the price we paid for the 7 day stay, the room was of a good size and had everything we needed. The fridge was a good size, the balcony was small, but has enough space for 2 people to sit and hand washing on the line that the hotel provides. The air-con was a life saver and worked fine throughout, and as exp3ected as the hotel was so cheap, it was of extra charge, as well as the safe, not too expensive though. The bathroom serves as a washroom, which I immediately didn’t like the sound of at first, but it was fine, it didn’t leak into the main room and the water drained fine too. Only thing I would say is that there was no hot water between 4pm-7pm, as I believe that a lot of the room were using the hot water, so if you do want a hot evening shower, I suggest you do earlier in the afternoon at 3pm or later at 8pm. If you are the type to lounge around the swimming pool next to a sun bed, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as the sun beds and pool are on 2 different levels, and the pool is very small so I don’t think it a very usable space. This wasn’t an issue for my family as we were happy to go on the beach. I can’t comment on the restaurant food as my family and I didn’t eat there, it was traditionally Turkish food as the hotel is primarily filled with the Turkish and not to our taste, but it was very popular nevertheless. When it got to our last day, unfortunately we had a very late night flight and the hotel didn’t allow us to have a late checkout on one of the rooms. Considering we requested for this on the first day of our stay, we were disappointed that this couldn’t go ahead. Overall, for the price of a B&B on the Turkish coast, you can’t fault it. If you just want a basic no fuss hotel, this is a perfect choice.
