We’ve recently returned from a 7-night stay at Liberty Signa and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We arrived close to 1am with a 1-year-old and an 8-year-old who were absolutely exhausted, while my husband and I were starving after the journey. The staff at Timeless, the 24-hour restaurant, kindly allowed us to take our meals up to our room, which was so appreciated after a long day of travelling. Our son has food allergies and because of this we would normally only choose self-catering accommodation rather than an all-inclusive resort. Before booking, we reached out to the hotel and they were incredibly helpful and reassuring regarding allergy procedures. The service during our stay absolutely did not disappoint. Guest Relations were fantastic at explaining how everything worked. Each day we would message through our meal requests for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the sous chef would separately prepare our son’s meals safely for him. This gave us such peace of mind throughout the holiday. A special thank you to Serif Birgul and Ozkan Turkmen, who were both incredibly accommodating and kind. They made us feel genuinely safe and cared for. We never imagined we would be able to enjoy a seven-night holiday abroad without constantly worrying about what our son could eat. Alongside the excellent allergy support, every single member of staff we encountered was wonderful. We spent a lot of time in Bon Bon, where Baki made the most amazing mochas! Also a shoutout to Aidana and Elina for their lovely hospitality and friendliness throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return.

“Great service by Gurkan in Grano Bar”

Gurkan provided fabulous service and really looked after us as a family in the Grano bar. Every visit he knew our order without us asking and made our visit enjoyable. Thank you ❤️

Currently here at Liberty Signa for our second stay as a couple. We have a direct access pool room near the adult pool which is great with all the things you need for a trouble free visit. All staff are very friendly and hard working but particular mention must go to Mehmet and Furkhan at the adult bar as they have kept us entertained and topped up with our favourite drinks even if they are not on the menu. A word of warning, Mehmet does make some surprise cocktails that might blow your socks off if you are actually wearing any 🤣. The whole hotel is well laid out and kept spotless. We have eaten in Myra, Petra, Okeanos, Tatre and Ricotta with food in all restaurants excellent. Ricotta is out favourite and thank you to the head chef (whose name unfortunately escapes me) for checking that everything was good for us The only negative for us is the service in Myra (the buffet restaurant). After our last visit I felt that this was the only thing that let it down and to be fair it has improved, however it is still hit and miss. Sometimes dirty plates are cleared straight away, your glasses are filled and your waiter/waitress checks if you need anything. At other times you are clearing a table yourself and chasing round trying to get a drink. I appreciate that this seems a minor issue but when compared to service in other parts of the hotel it does seem a bit haphazard.

We’ve just arrived back from a seven-night stay with a 7-month-old baby and younger siblings (14 & 19), and I wanted to share my thoughts and a few tips. Our check-in experience was unfortunately terrible. We’d travelled for most of the day with a baby and just wanted to eat and get settled into bed. We booked two rooms: a superior room and a jacuzzi room. The superior room was great, however the jacuzzi room was smaller than expected, especially once all the luggage and belongings were inside. I asked whether it would be possible for my siblings to have a superior room instead, as space was more important to them than a jacuzzi and we thought someone else may appreciate that room type more. (I would have absolutely accepted if the answer was no as I was the one who booked the room) So I was told to come to reception to discuss it, but when I got there the receptionist told me there was a “problem.” He explained that because my brother is 14, they couldn’t accept him as a child. Despite me booking through Stayforlong and entering all guest details correctly. Bear in mind this was around 10:30pm after a full day of travelling. He then told me that in order to keep the current room or switch to a superior room, it would cost an additional €800-€1200 for the week. I told him that all booking details had been entered correctly and that the booking had worked out at the same price per person for all four of us, so it made no sense to me. I also stressed that my baby needed feeding and I needed to get back to the room. He said there was only one room he could offer me, but it was a substantial downgrade. I went to see it and it was an accessible room that had clearly seen better days, followed by another room with a very similar vibe. I explained that this wasn’t what we had paid for, declined both rooms, and asked them to find another solution. By this point I’d already gone back and forth to reception from the 2nd/3rd floor three times. However, once I mentioned that I booked on stayforlong via Tripadvisor, a superior partial sea view room suddenly became available for my siblings at no extra charge. The whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth for the rest of the stay, especially as it was obvious that both me and my baby were exhausted and overwhelmed after a long day. Although I was able to stand my ground, I still felt quite vulnerable in that moment. It was over an hour after arriving before we were finally settled into our rooms. I did suggest that the hotel review their online booking systems, as some booking websites still classify 14-year-olds as children. Please double-check your booking details before travelling, as I’d hate for this to happen to someone else. I also later got asked to go back down to reception that same evening to sign a note confirming I wouldn’t claim compensation because we had technically “downgraded” from a jacuzzi room to a superior room, which honestly baffled me given the circumstances. Aside from this, the other staff around the resort were lovely and service was prompt throughout. I do think only allowing 1 à la carte booking per stay doesn’t really reflect the price point, especially as most restaurants seemed quiet each evening. We chose the Italian and it was fantastic! One of the biggest downsides for us was the lack of casual snack options around the resort. Quite a few times we didn’t want to sit in a full restaurant and would have happily had something simple like a chicken slider outside instead. We’ve stayed at cheaper resorts that had freezer stations with Magnums, Cornettos etc. and little snack huts serving casual food throughout the day. We ended up doing a supermarket run, which personally I don’t think you should feel the need to do at an all-inclusive. Most desserts at Bon Bon looked better than they tasted in my opinion, many were mousse-based, which just isn’t my thing. We did enjoy the chocolate hazelnuts and hot chocolates there though. The ice cream flavours were a bit hit and miss too, with some tasting quite grainy. The nicest desserts we had were actually in the main buffet. The buffet food was good but it became repetitive after a few days. A handful of dishes changed daily, but overall you knew what to expect. Again, I just don’t feel this reflected the price we paid. I will say that the custom menemen station during breakfast was my favourite part of the buffet, I would recommend asking them to make a traditional version. Entertainment personally wasn’t really for me and didn’t seem to get the crowd going either, although the production quality itself was very good. The main pool area and waterpark were fantastic though, great temperature, lots of activities, and a really good atmosphere. Special mention to the water polo team as they were brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed joining in each time. The non-alcoholic drink options listed on the menus were fairly limited and became repetitive after a few days. However, when ordering via the QR code by the pool, I found I could select an alcoholic cocktail with flavours I liked and leave a note asking for a non-alcoholic version instead. Staff always accommodated this, which was really nice. I’d definitely recommend asking for a non-alcoholic strawberry or classic mojito — they weren’t officially on the menu but the staff made them perfectly every time. We also visited the kids club, which was more suited to toddlers and younger children. There looked to be lots for them to do, although there wasn’t really anything for babies. A sensory room would be a lovely addition! The spa was lovely. Yalcan looked after us and the anti-stress massage he recommended was excellent. I genuinely slept like a baby afterwards. Overall, I’d say the resort is nice, but personally not 5* standard for the price paid, and I probably wouldn’t return as I feel there’s much better value elsewhere, such as the Barut Collection hotels. I’ve also never experienced such a stressful check-in situation before, and it’s unfortunately something I’m unlikely to forget. Tips for families staying with a baby 👶 • The baby food section is at the far end of the buffet. There isn’t a huge selection of jars/pouches, but I found it easier to use the healthy section instead (boiled chicken, vegetables etc.) and ask the pasta station staff to make a baby-friendly pasta dish. • Sit on the right-hand side of the buffet as you walk in, we found it much calmer and quieter there. • The hotel provides a baby toiletries kit. I didn’t use the products personally, but the soap smelled amazing! • Check your floaties for holes before you travel, we learned that the hard way 😅 • Ask for the kids’ menu in all restaurants as there are some baby-friendly options on there too. • Avoid sunbeds near the main pool steps if you have a baby, as the music is very loud there. We found the best area for us was near the Timeless restaurant.
