“Perfect getaway”

The whole family was amazed by the hotel. The atmosphere was incredible even though it rained a little bit. Kids absolutely loved animations, especially darts with Emir. Food was amazing and so fresh! This trip was a perfect getaway for all of us.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! Hotel is truly one of the best we have been to. Food, infrastructure, slides and... the animation team. Especially we would love to thank Emir for making this holiday the best with his humor and fun dart games. We would love to come back again in near future.

I'll do a short review for those wanting top line to read and run and a longer review underneath for those who like more in depth. I stayed at Signa during opening week 2026 with my husband and two children (aged 12 and 9). We received a warm welcome, with drinks offered at check-in. The reception and lobby area had a calm, ambient atmosphere that i noticed was continuous throughout my stay. Throughout my stay, guest services via WhatsApp were extremely helpful and responsive. Our family room was spacious (50m²), with two bedrooms, very comfortable beds, plenty of storage, large TVs, coffee machines, and thoughtful amenities like robes, slippers, and daily replenished fridges. The bathroom was large and well-equipped, although the placement of toiletries away from the shower was slightly inconvenient. The only thing you need to bring with you from home is hair straighteners and make up, hair spray/hair gel, everything else you can think of is provided by the hotel. The pool areas were excellent, with a large heated main pool, slides, splash areas for younger children, and plenty of comfortable sunbeds. There are also many additional pools across the hotel. Bars were plentiful and served a good range of drinks, with friendly service throughout. Eating at the Myra buffet offered a wide variety of good food, though it became repetitive (potentially due to a lack of themed nights?). Service was excellent early in the week but noticeably declined as the hotel became busier, with delays of drinks and shortages of certain foods. Other restaurants were good, though I didn't get to visit the a la cartes as my children like the buffet restaurant. There is an adult restaurant which we also enjoyed (we were allowed in with the children due to Myra not opening on opening day due to occupancy numbers) Facilities such as the patisserie, spa, gym, and grounds were all high quality and well maintained. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with plenty of seating and relaxing areas such as hammocks. However, there were some areas the hotel can improve. Entertainment was largely absent despite being advertised, with activities only running on one day of our stay which was disappointing. This made the hotel less suitable for older children and teens. I was disappointed that the daily exercise programmes did not run everyday as this is important to me. There was no alternative indoor activities provided as you would expect, and find in other similar hotels The indoor pool experience was poor, its small, lacking facilities, and was difficult to access refreshments. Rain also exposed drainage issues within the hotel, with flooding in main walkways inside main building, and outside in main walkway areas of the hotel, I needed to have a sandbag at my room door due to rainwater coming in (was in an end room). Overall, we had a very good holiday, likely helped by low occupancy early in the season. I would return, but not with older children as the hotel currently lacks sufficient entertainment and all weather planning for early season visits. Long Version We stayed in a family room (50m²), which included two separate bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with two proper single beds. This layout worked perfectly for us. The beds were extremely comfortable, with a choice of pillows, and both rooms were well equipped with large TVs, coffee machines, ample storage, and plenty of UK compatible plug sockets. Small but important touches like sewing kits, robes, slippers etc, and a stocked mini fridges replenished daily. The blackout curtains were excellent (you genuinely couldn’t tell day from night), and lighting options allowed you to adjust the mood easily (high, low, medium). The bathroom was equally impressive, spacious, stylish, and well equipped with double sinks, a separate WC, and a powerful dual shower setup including a rainfall shower. The amenities from Botanist & The Chemist were high quality and plentiful. The placement of shampoo and shower gel away from the shower area felt strange and dual locating these to also being inside the shower space would be a good touch. The pool areas are one of Signa’s strongest assets. The main pool is lively, and surrounded by hundreds of comfortable sunbeds, more than enough even in peak season i would think. There’s a great mix of spaces, a lively main pool with music (licenced and unlicenced) and a bar, roller skater waiters. Fun water slides (popular with both kids and adults), a well designed splash park for younger children. There is also multiple additional pools scattered across the resort (including quieter and adult-only areas). Even without much organised entertainment, the atmosphere around the main pool remained enjoyable. If the hotel is consistent with the daily poolside activities (aqua aerobics, games, music-led sessions etc) this would have really elevated our stay as its one of the main things we look for when booking a hotel. The hotel is filled with bars tucked around every corner. All served a strong mix of local and international drinks, with friendly and attentive colleagues. The Grano Bar was fab, especially with its live music most evenings. However, as occupancy increased, seating became difficult so in peak i could see this could be an issue. Expanding seating during busy periods would be beneficial. I did notice there was an empty space beside it they had opened so perhaps the hotel already have this plan. My children are too old for the kids club here, but I did have a look at the area and it was big and had lots of equipment for young children (maybe under 6s). Slides, climbing frames, a big soft play area. My children would have loved this at a younger age. For older children there is a paid for games area that has arcade games. Games work on credits and most of the games were 2 credits each. You can purchase credits. 12 for £10, 24 for £20 or 104 for £50. There was also pool and bowling, I am unsure of the price. The kids had a fab time in the arcade area. Sadly there is minimal else for older children or teens at the hotel (during my stay in April, aware in the main summer season this may be different). The main buffet, Myra Restaurant had a very large selection of deserts everyday, a fabulous selection of fresh fruit at every meal. Fresh bread and also fresh pizza and pasta station. Lots of variety of yogurts and probably too many different varieties of casseroles. Lots of freshly cooked meats, including chicken, lamb and beef. As we stayed in early season we had no issues getting a table at any time, and the colleagues serving again were all very friendly. I did notice when the hotel got busier that often popular foods went within seconds of going in the dish, and were not replenished quickly enough. On our last day the guest numbers had increased significantly overnight and during breakfast we got our own water as no waiters around, at lunch we ordered drinks and they didn't turn up until we had all finished and were about to leave. At dinner, they had given up pouring drinks into glasses and were handing out cans of drinks. Although we really enjoyed the Myra restaurant, our last day gave us a glimpse into what it could be like during school holidays or peak summer and not sure I would have the same high opinion of it if my visit was during those times. I also noticed that there are no themed food nights here, this potentially could make the food in Myra seem a bit repetitive if you are there longer than a week. Introducing themed nights could improve the variety of foods available. Staffing levels will also need to be increased for peak season and improved replenishment system for the popular dishes will all ensure the Myra remains consistently good. Other dining options (Petra restaurant, beach bar, waffle hut) were fab. The hotel grounds are stunning, well maintained, spacious, and filled with relaxing seating areas, hammocks, and greenery.  Facilities include a lovely patisserie (cakes, drinks, ice cream), Spa, gym, wellness area, shops (chocolate, jewellery, gifts, photography), sports areas (volleyball, table tennis, darts). Adding light lunch/late evening food options (like sandwiches) to the patisserie would be a great addition. The Beach Unfortunately we did not get to use the beach as work was being carried out and with lots of workmen etc there. Looks like once its finished it will be beautiful. We were not told about this before our stay and if we were big beach users I would complain to our tour operator. However as we aren't it was not an issue for us but can see how it could be for others Entertainment is where the hotel falls short. Despite a full entertainment schedule being advertised, activities only took place on one day of our stay. This was disappointing—especially as the weather was good for most of the week except our last day. There were no consistent daytime activities, no indoor alternatives when weather turned, very little for older children or teens. This could be easily rectified by ensuring advertised programmes run consistently, and back up indoor activities such as quizzes, games and fitness classes. This one area significantly impacts the overall experience, particularly for families. Unfortunately, the indoor pool experience was poor and frustrating. It’s relatively small, dimly lit, and lacks basic conveniences, most notably, access to drinks. Trying to get water involved a 10 minute treasure hunt which ended up with me going outside in the pouring rain to the patisserie. I won't bore you with the story, however its not what I would have expected of any hotel. This again could be easily rectified by adding a small bar serving soft drinks to the indoor pool, or having adequate signage to the juice bar in the spa, or opening the lobby bar earlier. They should also open the doors which connects the indoor pool to the spa so guests do not have to walk through the lobby in swimwear/coverups to get a drink as this was slightly strange and felt awkward. Simply introducing a more flexible atmosphere during poor weather such as making the indoor pool a family friendly environment would also improve the indoor pool experience significantly. A full day of rain in my last day exposed operational weaknesses within the hotel. Flooded walkways both inside the main building and outside on the main walkway due to poor drainage, Water entering rooms (we needed a sandbag), I was in an end room. All entertainment cancelled with no alternative indoor entertainment planned. This again could be addressed by the hotel improving drainage, having activities moved or changed to indoor suitability instead of being cancelled all together. We genuinely had a very good holiday, and Signa has the potential to be outstanding. The rooms, pools, service (when not overstretched), and overall design are all impressive. However, the experience felt heavily influenced by low occupancy early in the season. As numbers increased, issues with service, dining, and organisation became more apparent. I would return to Signa, however not in April (due to lack of entertainment and activity reliability). Also not with older children, as there isn’t enough for them to do.  The hotel is a beautiful, with lots of potential, but it needs to improve consistency, entertainment, and all-weather planning to deliver a 5-star luxury experience.
