The True Blue Hotel was a unique experience. We arrived very late night, 01.00 hrs, due to a long trip from Antalya Airport. It was raining cats and dogs all evening. Night service at the hotel: excellent pick up and room service. My partner had a broken shoulder and during our stay she developed a severe cold as well. Hotel staff took us to local doctor and later on to A&E in Kalkan. Next morning to hospital in Antalya with personal help from Tuba. We decided to go home that day. Outstanding personal support to get that arranged. Unfortunately only a four days stay at the hotel, but unforgettable due to best hotel staff service experienced ever, location and hotel room. Wow! This is a beautiful hotel! Everything is so perfect. From the rooms, the pool area, wonderful breakfast and such lovely, helpful staff everything was exceptional. The attention to detail is outstanding. The hotel is decorated in a very unique way with little touches of a personal nature, interesting artwork, vases of flowers, decorative cushions and furniture that is comfortable and appealing. It gives the feeling of a welcoming home and nothing like a sterile hotel. The beautiful pool area is furnished with plenty of sunbeds, surrounded by lemon trees with the seated bar area a welcome retreat for lunch or a cool drink.The breakfast is another wow! I have never seen such a variety and quality of food on offer at any other hotel we have stayed at. Homemade bread, jams, honey and locally sourced produce of a high standard, with the option for eggs cooked as you like are on offer. We never felt hungry! The lovely owner, Tuba, would chat to every guest at breakfast adding to the wonderful welcoming atmosphere. She lives and breathes hospitality! Beck and Rafi were always available in reception to offer help, give advice on places to visit and restaurant recommendations. They are great guys with a great sense of humour! We would return in a heartbeat and thoroughly recommend this hotel. Many thanks Tuba, Beck and Rafi! xx

“Peaceful place for your calm vacation with beautiful clear sea”

I was very satisfied in this hotel. We had an spacious apartment with kitchen and big terrace, I loved this place for my online work. Daily service in apartments. Rich breakfast. Very nice swimming pool in beautiful garden with lemon trees. Helpful and very kind staff. I appreciated collab with Yali Beach Club where guests of Tru Blue Hotel Kalkan have free entrance. Kalkan is picturesquely town when u can make a looot of amazing photos. And the sea is like a dream. Totally clear and warm even in October. Highly recommend this place!

Hoş geldiniz, Welcome True Blue Boutique Hotel Kalkan in the group of our beloved boutique hotels, where we have enjoyed our holidays very much. Both „hardware“ and „software“ were excellently developed in True Blue. As regards hardware: • We had a fine room 201, it was even a spacious junior suite, with a comfortable bed, sufficient space in wardrobe with safe, excellent en-suite bathroom, large sofa (could have hosted a third person) and sitting & table area, large fridge, nicely developed atmosphere, additional amenities provided as electric kettle for tea/coffee making with coffee and tea bags added each day, the glasses were even complemented by a sommelier's knife (!), balcony with wide seaview. • Their breakfast buffet was second to none, given the vast choice of everything you might want for breakfast. And if something was missing the friendly staff refilled it. • True Blue provides a 13,5m swimming pool as a refreshing option. We preferred its space to swim a lot while other guests preferred the substantial number of pool loungers. • Located next to the pool was a pool bar where you could not only get drinks but until 16:30 also snacks, drinks until midnight. What should be mentioned in this context is the fact that they offered (besides the various cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks) several different (bottled) Turkish beers and a great variety of Turkish wines (the list was 2 DIN A4 pages long!). Drinks were served with chilled glasses. We liked those we tasted very much. And: we found prices for the drinks reasonable, not exaggerated. • We did not use parking because using airport shuttle, but there were several parking slots at the rear side of the building. • As mentioned they served snacks only until the late afternoon, but no dinner. But that was by no means a disadvantage. There existed a kind of symbiotic relationship with a restaurant on the other side of the street „House Kitchen & Bar“, where you could dine on a terrace with sea view and getting excellent food. Many of the other True Blue guests we met there. We will evaluate HKB in a different post. And the software: • It was an amazing atmosphere at True Blue, everybody being friendly, helpful, in good mood, and efficient, beginning with the charming landlady and her receptionists team, over the breakfast and pool-bar team, and the ladies of the room service to the facility manager, with really no exception. We felt as being part of the family. • What we appreciated is the pet-friendly attitude everyone showed. • They offered several trips to interesting sites in the Kalkan area. We did not use this service because of some accident-related reduced mobility we brought from home. • One could even book airport transfer from the hotel, which we did not use, as we had this booked already at our tour operator. • The reception provides a list of regulated taxi prices which turn out to be cheap by Western European Standards. Taxis are readily available in Kalkan. Due to the topography in Kalkan (steep gradients down towards the bay) this may be necessary from time to time, but in view of the cheap taxi prices affordable. In sum, we were very content, True Blue provided everything which is necessary for a happy holiday. We intend to return.
