Recently got back from this hotel, our first night was a bit of a wash out and the queues at dining really made us worry (Kebab night) however that was the only issue we had during the stay. For the rest of the week then service was significantly better, the hotel was lovely, staff friendly and helpful, especially the porter and the food and drink absolutely fine for the cost of the holiday, each night there seemed to be a theme and a BBQ so the main was good with lunches being the normal salads and a hot choice, each evening there was an entertainment show on, we only watched one as we like to go out, but again, it was enjoyable. The room was clean and well kept, AC worked well nothing to complain about. There were also 2 pool tables and 2 table tennis tables for chilling in the bar later. All in all, had a great time, the only thing I could suggest is they need rum on the all inclusive list. You also get free entry and sunbeds at Sugar Beach (with a shuttle if you want), and found the beach excellent. The location is about 200m from the top of the main strip.

We have been coming back to Akdeniz beach hotel for over 15 years and we absolutely love it. We arrived home a couple of days ago and we are already planning our next stay. The hotel delivers all it promises, we always know what to expect and we are never disappointed. The staff bend over backwards for you if you need something and make you feel so welcome with just the right amount of attention, likewise if you want to lie in peace undisturbed they know! A big shout out to Hilmi Kerem, Gamze, Jason, Başak & Tammy for looking after us & making our stay, thank you 🙏🏻 You can tell from the vibe about the place that it’s a happy place to work, and that is reflected in the atmosphere. The rooms are modern clean and comfortable, we have stayed in the standard and superior rooms and they have been exactly as advertised. The food is great, it’s simple tasty local cuisine with lots of choice and there is definitely plenty of it! During quieter times the set menus are varied and delicious & during the busier months the buffet choice is great. The gardens around the pool and accommodation are lovely, it’s so nice to see the lemons and oranges picked fresh from the tree infront of you for the slices in your drink and don’t be surprised to see a chicken wondering about alongside a very friendly 3 legged cat! Do be prepared for an early morning wake up call from the cockerel and if you are a light sleeper then bring earplugs! The pool area is spacious and sun loungers are comfortable, the pool is cold water which is just what you need in the heat of the day and the swim up bar an extra bonus! The location is great, a short walk to the beautiful pebble and sand beach & turquoise sea and access to the Lagoon there are plenty of restaurants nearby too (if you want to venture out) Lots of shopping in Olu Deniz and it’s also easy to get to Hisaronu & Fethiye from outside the hotel. This hotel describes itself as simple done well and that’s exactly what it is, it’s the no fuss relaxed atmosphere and that make it home from home and such good value. We recently stayed at Akdeniz Hotel in Ölü deniz and overall had a mostly positive experience with a few issues along the way. One of the best things about this hotel is definitely the location. It is extremely central, only a short walk to the beach, shops, bars, local buses and restaurants. Our favourite thing was sitting by the pool or on the balcony watching the paragliders overhead against the beautiful mountain scenery — the setting really is stunning. The hotel itself is very pretty and has a lovely atmosphere, especially around the pool area, which we really enjoyed. We also felt the hotel offered very good value for money. The rooms were kept clean throughout our stay, which we appreciated, and the WiFi worked surprisingly well compared to many places we have stayed abroad. A big positive for us was the guest relations lady Amanda sorry the name might not be correct, who was genuinely excellent and very much needed at times. There were quite a few language difficulties when ordering meals in the restaurant, particularly as the hotel had been advertised as buffet style but this was not actually what we received. However, guest relations did everything they could to help resolve misunderstandings and made the dining experience much easier for us. The restaurant staff and serving team also deserve credit as they were always friendly, hardworking and tried their best to help despite the language barrier. There were a few negatives that stopped this being a higher-rated stay. On arrival we were initially given the wrong room and had to wait until the following day to be moved, which really should not have happened after a long journey. Another disappointment was the first impression of the hotel reception and outside entrance area, which looked rather tired dull and uninviting this is a shame because it did not reflect how nice and beautiful the rest of the hotel actually was. We also found one older lady on reception quite sharp and unhelpful when we asked for assistance regarding our airport transfer pickup times, which unfortunately left us feeling uncomfortable. That said, despite the issues, we did enjoy our stay overall. The beautiful surroundings, fantastic location, clean rooms, good pool area and the efforts of guest relations and restaurant staff outweighed the negatives for us. With some improvements to communication, organisation on arrival and the reception experience, this hotel could be excellent.
