First of all, please ignore some of the negative reviews of this hotel. We were so worried about staying here and there was nothing wrong at all! We traveled as a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 children. We arrived late and were quickly showed to our room. Evening meal had ended so we were offered soup and bread, which was fine. The room was huge, one separate with a double bed in and the other with 2 twin beds. The rooms are basic but they were fine and we didn't have any problems with them at all. The pool area was extremely clean with loads of seating options. The children loved playing everyday. The pool bar opened at 10am serving drinks and Cihan was always there to welcome us with a smile. He was lovely and a great host! Unfortunately, the hotel did lack activities by the pool but it may be because it was quiet. Whilst we were there they played polo twice which the husbands thoroughly enjoyed. On our first morning we were pleasantly greeted by ibo. This man is wonderful, he was so helpful and we looked forward to seeing him around everyday, always taking the time to make sure we were happy and ok. He has recently taken over the hotel and has amazing plans to change lots of aspects. All the staff were very helpful and happy, always taking the time to chat and have a laugh with us. They all work extremely hard and this never went unnoticed. By the end of the holiday they felt like family. The spa wasn't open during our stay but staff were happy for us to go inside and look around a couple of times. All I can say is WOW! It's stunning!!! Ibo gave us information to go on a jeep safari trip which I'm so glad we booked. The kids absolutely loved it as did we. It was a full day packed with activities and Woody, our tour guide, was superb at making it fun for all. A great business and a trip I'd recommend if you have children. The food at the hotel was lovely. There were lots of options at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool snack bar was great for in-between if you didn't want to go to the main restaurant. The chicken tenders were to die for and a firm favourite in our group. Overall we had a great stay and were sad to leave. Yes, some parts of the hotel looked run down but they are currently working on improving this. I can't fault the hotel and would happily return. Thank you for a fantastic stay and memories to last a lifetime ❤️

After reading some of the reviews the month before coming to the Garcia resort we were a little worried to say the least,but in all honesty we didn't need to be as we had such a good holiday here. We arrived as a family of 8 (2 rooms) fairly late evening and were greeted by friendly staff at the reception quickly checked in and then showed to our rooms. The rooms were slightly dated furniture wise ,definitely where most of the complaints come from! Towels changed everyday if want them to be ,beds were extremely comfy. Set in a stunning location so the view from the rooms was very nice. Atmosphere around the place was very good ,we came during the turkish holiday so plenty of locals staying here who were all friendly. Food and drink was very good plenty of choice,salads, meats and good choice for the kids. Pool snack bar was excellent too ,chicken strips ,burgers,pasta ,pizzas etc. Service was excellent in the dining area always very good with us and also the pool bar so credit to all the staff we dealt with. Swimming pool was lovely and clean not sure where the dirty posts come from. You can tell there is a great effort to turn this hotel back to where it was under new management ,even while we were there work was going on like redecorating and the spa was nearly complete too which will be amazing when finished. Ibrahim the general manager was great with us from day 1 introduced himself to us on the 1st day and looked after us for the rest of the holiday ,he was talking to us about all the improvements that they are working on and that it can't be just done overnight, plans for new furniture in the rooms ,new parasols and beds etc. All in all we had a great time and would go back as it will only get better this hotel. We all have different opinions , here’s mine regarding Garcia Resort and Spa . Second time we’ve been to the Garcia and won’t be the last . Here’s why The hotel is built on the side of mount Babadag , a 5 minute drive to the beach or Hisaronu in a spectacular location . The staff are so helpful and friendly , especially Ibrahim the customer liaison manager . The rooms are spacious with tea making facilities , a massive comfortable bed , a fridge , a tv and most importantly a massive balcony most with fantastic views over Oludeniz and mout Babadag . The hotel and rooms are very clean . The pool and sunbathing area are immaculate with a great bar and just the best bar staff and a recently build eating area where you can order great food from a limited menu . There are 6 pools , a smaller one for tots and another with great slides , a lifeguard is always present . The food , my favourite. I love the food at the Garcia , so much choice and desserts are amazing . The restaurant is always spotless ( when it opens anyway lol ) . We had bbq every week day which was a real bonus , I have put on a few pounds lol . My overall opinion of this hotel is brilliant and we will be returning and I would recommend it to anyone. The views , the excursions , the sea and the paragliding all fantastic.
