We have just returned from 10 days at Sahra Su, We had an amazing time as a couple the swim up bungalows are the stars of the Hotel, the hotel does have a very chilled vibe to it, every meal we had was excellent,the staff went above and beyond for me ( arranging my wife’s birthday cake , bringing her drinks and ice when she had a fall on an excursion and couldn’t walk very far etc) The Entertainment: the live music ( hot chocolate) on the 2 Mondays we where there where the best entertainment we’ve seen in a long time, the entertainment staff do try there best and this is very visual through the hours they put in etc but I believe this hotel is for the more “chilled person” if that makes some sort of sense so most people weren’t getting involved. The Room: More than excellent, was kept clean every day , fresh water , coffee etc where always stocked up daily, the cleaners and handy men where always around if you needed anything , anything we did need was arranged within minutes. The Spa: the spa packages we had (before and after sun packages ) were excellent. The quality of the massages we had was up there with the best we have ever had.it is not the cheapest but you can tell when you are having your treatments that you are receiving a quality service with proper professionals. The Location: the hotel is located is a very quiet area it is around 10 mins in a taxi to hisaronu . But the hotel being were it is located adds to the chilled vibe mentioned earlier. We visited Fethiye , olu deniz and hisaronu in taxis and they were all more than reasonable. The staff: The photographer was 5* Frank the excursions man was 5* never pushed us to book an excursion just gave us the information we needed and they let you approach him , frank is a massive asset to this hotel as he is always around to help no matter if the issue is with an excursion or not he will make sure you get the help you need. The waiters / chefs, not a single issue they always greeted us with a smile and a welcome despite there long hours and hot days The staff do really make this hotel and it’s very visible. The Drinks: I don’t tend to drink much alcohol but my wife said all the cocktails were lovely All soft drink were also nice as was the Turkish Cay For the families: I think a family could enjoy a holiday at Sahara Su and I saw some families where, there is a small kids slide , play area and kids mini disco in the evening , there is also a water park not far from the hotel for a family day out. I can see the taxis becoming pricey for a big family. But don’t expect the party loud vibe of marmaris etc as Sahra su isn’t that type of hotel. My one and only complaint: Weak coffee 🤣 I am a well known coffee addict and I just found the coffee a bit weak but I always asked for a black coffee with an extra espresso in and that hit the spot 👌

“Amazing hotel and staff can't fault anything”

This was a amazing holiday the spa is amazing and very relaxing Enzo is the best person we have met in turkey I would adopt if I could hes so polite and kind and he is the reason we are coming back also sky is amazing aswell with her beautiful bird pikachu give him loads of kisses 💋 😘

Good and bad points Hotel is lovely around the hotel is clean and tidy pool areas are clean and most staff will go out there way to help you no matter what when we arrived we upgraded our room from 2 family rooms to one big bungalow and this cost us £450 for 2 weeks which was good and worked out better for us as a family too food is above average Wednesday nights are Turkish nights and the food is amazing and afternoon lunch is quite good too but as a family we don’t really eat bread and the chef would Not just give us chicken with no bread so we felt we wasted a lot but staff said it’s fine chef in the main restaurant was absolutely amazing and the staff in there too they went out there way every night to give my child cereal as he was really off the food most night and one night they come out and gave him the full bag of golden nuggets they really are amazing and work so so hard I could not fault any staff behind the bar or in the restaurant kids enjoyed the entertainment at night but it was very short and sweet could do with a little longer Frank is amazing he goes out his way to help You no matter what time of the day it is and he had the time of day to talk to my children and any problem he would sort like a guest relation man should but the problem is he’s not guest relation but I recon he would be amazing at this as he speaks very good English and helps where he can and goes out his way It’s also a 30 minute walk into town down some dusty roads but only 350 lira in a taxi Bad points Life guard has a massive attitude problem and likes to make one rule for one child and a rule for another and then once approached get a bigger attitude problem calls manager and then shouts above anything you say in Turkish to make you feel small and then after the problem is meant to be sorted out stands which her arms crossed at the top of the side with the whistle and literally picks on your children till she makes you feel that uncomfortable that you leave the pool and spoil the children’s fun !!!! We understand there’s rules but please don’t make one up for a 8 year old and another up for a 4 year old this life guard literally stopped us from taking our children into the slide area because of how uncomfortable she made me and my partner feel while sat watching the children … we was lucky we had out pool outside the room if it was not for that we would have been screwed the day before we was coming home we thought we would try the slide pool again at 2pm as approaching she was sat with her shoes and socks off and her feet up in another chair there was a man and his child in the water and he was putting the child from the water half way up the slide soon as we got to the slide and sat down she seen us and she got up shoes on and stood watching for my children to do something wrong soon as they did she was down to guest relations while he was stood at the bar moaning about my children for running to the slide he then approached us and sat talking as if he was our friend and then asked are they your boys please tell them to stop running !!! Instantly she looked and was staring at us and we got up and left !!!! Cleaners the room was cleaned quick and not to the best job but I understand they work long hours and it’s hot to be working in but she did not understand there was 6 of us and needed 6 towels we kept having to ask for more towels and the beds has stains on but when asked for fresh bedding she did not understand the drains in bungalow 10 was foul they did try to sort this by putting a yellow cover over it but that did not help and when we opened the bathroom window to let it air out for the day when we arrived back home there was a cat sat on our bed that had got in from the window as the mesh part was missing we asked for some new mesh but that did not happen they just put a wire on to stop it opening fully but after this we did not open it and just left door closed Music from a restaurant next door to the hotel on a weekend is played way to loud but this is not the hotels fault they have tried to sort but the restaurant don’t want to help them out but just as a thing we was at the very bottom of the hotel and the restaurant is at the top and it was like we was sat in there with then and partying it does go off about 12:15 maybe a little later but it can keep you up some night Overall if this holiday come up cheap I would come back but would not come back in a massive rush but would book a bungalow simply for the pools outside your room as t It was amazing for the kids to have there play time and chill time when needed and not having to get up for sun beds were Evan better
