*** LONG BUT HONEST REVIEW** Stayed in this resort from the 23rd-30th of July with 12 of us spread across 5 rooms. 2 rooms on the top floor, 2 on the bottom floor with a swim up and 2 people in a swim up bungalow. The rooms, except for the bungalow, were all quite small but did the job, the music from the neighbouring hotel was very loud and could be heard in these rooms clearly until about midnight which was quite distributive but not Sahra Su’s fault. The cleanliness of the room wasn’t the best but i’ve definitely stayed in worse places and it wasn’t bad enough for me to request a new room/ another clean etc. We did have a problem with our air con which we voiced to reception but nothing was done about it, the remotes batteries had ran out so was blowing cold air constantly and we had many sleepless night because we were shivering, we eventually asked for more duvets and that was given to us straight away sp the air con wasn’t as much of an issue after that. There’s a small TV in each room with a few channels, we had BBC 1 and a crime chanell in English and the others in Turkish, another in our party had different channels that us. The pools were all a similar depth and all quite large and are placed in perfect spots so the sun always hits them ensuring they are never cold. The only lifeguard on is the one manning the little kids slide which is only open at certain times however the pool has opening and closing times ( not gated so can physically go in at any time) which doesn’t make sense to me as the only difference between swimming at night and swimming in the day time is the sun but the pools are all lit anyways. The resort is well lit and the pools all have lights so very easy to see where you’re going at night time. There is also a taxi call button at the front gates and a sign underneath it with prices to keep places eg. Hisoronu, the Tuesday markets etc. I would recommend people buy an Esim before coming to turkey as the hotel does offer wifi to be purchased but it’s paid per device per day, we bought an esim before we came for £10 that lasted all week so had unlimited data all week. The food was quite repetitive and basic but the majority of it was nice, i’m quite a picky eater so struggled the first day to find something i’d like but i would absolutely reccomend everyone to try a bit of everything as things i normally would write off and never eat i ended up loving, there’s always chips, nuggets, onion rings and some kind of basic pasta and the snack bar, which is open 12 - 4, serves pizza, pasta, burgers and tenders/ nuggets everyday so there is always something. There’s also late night soup available, turkish pancakes from 12-4, waffles 4-5, ice cream bars 3-5 and ice cream cones available to buy all day. The bar is well stocked with plenty of drinks to choose from, the well known cocktails eg Pornstar martini, long island ice tea etc are available to buy but the cocktails included are lovely so wasn’t missed. The bartenders are all very friendly and chatty, a few of them made the drinks different ways so tasted different based on person but overall nice. I would recommend people use the bar in reception or near the snack bar rather than the pool one as the wait there was quite long at times. On arrival they give you towel cards to swap in the spa for towels to use around the pool, we went to get ours and met the lovely Sky, she showed us around the spa and explained everything and showed us some packages, wasn’t pushy at all and when we did book in for a welcome package explained it all to us in detail, helped us with getting cash out and gave us a tea and some turkish delight after the treatment. Sky was constantly smiling, chatty and just a genuinely lovely person. Sky also has a pet budgie named Pikachu who joins her at the desk, he’s so well behaved and she lets him come out to play with the children, we came in sometimes just so the kids could see Pikachu, they particularly liked played football with him. The masseuses in the spa were brilliant and I loved the turkish bath experience. I would definitely recommend people get the welcome treatment, it is totally worth the money. The excursion rep Frank was also brilliant, so friendly, remembered all our names and any time he saw us around the resort would stop for a chat. We did the Jeep Safari experience, which was so worth the money, and he’d given us his number when we booked on. there was an issue while we were there that was messaged to him and he replied straight away, resolving the issue as soon as possible. He also checked on us the next day and any other queries we had that were messaged to him were replied to promptly, no matter the time. He would call us taxis, advise us on what excursions were worth the money etc and even came to say goodbye to us just before our coach transfer picked us up to leave. There are a few extras on the resort that i’m not used to seeing on holiday. There’s a mini salon that offers hair braiding, nails, hair, men’s cut, turkish shaves etc. The staff there are very welcoming. Next to that there is a mini shop, very small and cramped and, as it acts as a convenience shop, is a little bit on the expensive side. There is also a photographer who walks around and offers packages, he took photos of us all, individual and groups/couples etc and they all turned out amazing. Managing a group of 12 with multiple couples, different families within the big family and a couple moody children is difficult but our photographer (didn’t catch the name) was brilliant and we loved every photo. We got these done nearing the end of our holiday so we had little cash and he only accepts cash so little note if you’re going to do this make sure you have cash! We opted to buy the whole lot of photos and have a select few printed by him and it was a very easy process. The nighttime entertainment was different each night, we had Mongol dancing, live singers, columbian dancing etc and was all very good, there was also raffles, bingo etc on some nights and the prizes were all very good. Each night started with some children’s entertainment and some nights ended with karaoke too. Carlos and Oscar led most of these, Carlos being the main man and Oscar his little DJ man, both of these men are so so lovely, chatty, friendly and overall genuine nice people. They also do pool side dancing, darts and more activities during the day. From our first night there to our last moment leaving they both chatted with us, made sure we were having a good time and took interest in our plans, even advising us on what and where is good to go. If you were having your dinner and they had just got some food too they’d have a little convo with you about your day, if you see them around the resort they’d smile and say hello. We had a birthday in our party and they both sang happy birthday at the nighttime entertainment and made sure birthday boy felt loved. The whole week both of them were consistently happy and looked like they genuinely enjoy their job, Carlos came to say bye to us before we left for our coach transfer too and wished us a safe journey and hoped we’d come back soon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again, big big shoutout to Carlos, Oscar, Sky and Frank who made the holiday wonderful and gave us brilliant, friendly service. Thank you Sahara Su

“Would not return”

Enjoyed our stay but would not return. Have stayed at much nicer resorts in Turkey in far better locations with better facilities. Cheap for Taxi into town but you cant walk it so if youre wanting to go multiple times, this could get costly. -Only one pool bar which is miles away from the 'swim up… more

Enjoyed our stay but would not return. Have stayed at much nicer resorts in Turkey in far better locations with better facilities. Cheap for Taxi into town but you cant walk it so if youre wanting to go multiple times, this could get costly. -Only one pool bar which is miles away from the 'swim up rooms'. -Amphitheatre not in use. Used for storage which is a shame because this is a great facility for Entertainment and would prevent people fighting over seating within the snack bar area to watch this. -'Swim Up Rooms' are literally just pool side so glad we didnt pay an extra £400 for one. People got these to save fighting over sunbeds but we got 4 sun beds every day with no issues at all. -HAVE TO PAY FOR WIFI *PER DAY - PER DEVICE!* I have never experienced this anywhere I have ever stayed. -Safe is £3 *PER DAY* -Have to pay for ice creams, there is only one included within the all inclusive which is only available between 3 and 5pm -Snack bar opening is 12 til 4 but this was what can only be described as a calamity! People being told to sit down instead of queue to order food, they sat down and no one took their order. People being delivered food without even ordering! We ordered three burgers and a pizza. Waited 20 mins, chased this up and was then given three plates of chicken tenders and a hot dog?! -Only one room key issued -Had to ask for towels *EVERY DAY* as when the room was 'cleaned' we were never left with any towels. -Rooms were not cleaned thoroughly, often came back to dirt and 'bits' on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom where they were never hoovered. -Toilet seat was BROWN and there were brown stains on the bathroom floor. -Raw chicken on several occasions at the buffet. Several people fell ill. -Feral cats and kittens everywhere which 'live' where the sun beds are stored. We witnessed these being rolled through cat faeces and stored in it over night. -Slide is only open very sporadically. -Entertainment started too late 10-10.30pm for shows, Kids disco was 9.30pm -The hotel which backs onto this one had music blaring until 1am most nights. -Shower over bath, the hose split so we were unable to use it. -Areas of the hotel were run down with threadbare carpets and staining in communal areas. -Empty cups from the side of the pool and other rubbish were only collected a few times within the day. A lot of these were still there in the evening. -Areas around the resort to put dirty plates and cups on were rarely cleared. -Shop on site is very expensive. We ran out of suncream on the last day so got more from there which cost £26. -On site hair dressers was very reasonable and they were so friendly! -Carlos the Entertainment guy is fantastic. -Very limited Entertainment within the day for kids. Theres apparently a mini club for kids but this was never advertised, other than a sign pointing to a park for babies and toddlers which again was only open sporadically.

Overall, we stayed for a week. The holiday itself was enjoyable, and the hotel in general was good. Unfortunately, the room was a major disappointment and let the whole experience down having been to Turkey many times to much better hotels. The biggest concern was the lack of health and safety measures, especially as we were travelling with a four-year-old. The lock on the door leading to the main stairs from our first-floor bungalow was broken . Despite reporting this to reception several times throughout the week, nothing was done to fix the issue. They said it would be repaired as soon as we reported it the first time. A guy did arrive but never returned. We also discovered that one of the electrical sockets had come away from the wall, leaving exposed wiring. This was reported to reception almost every day, as well as to the Guest Relations Manager towards the end of our stay, but it remained in the same unsafe condition when we left. We also experienced ongoing problems with the air conditioning. On two nights, it leaked water directly onto our bed soaking the bedding and pillows . Thankfully, this issue was eventually repaired. Would we return? Probably not. While the hotel itself was pleasant and the staff were excellent, the poor condition of the room, the unresolved safety issues, and the lack of action when problems were reported mean we wouldn't choose to stay here again. The rooms are in desperate need of updating and modernisation. They also lack storage for a family and the small size of these rooms does put a negative feel on the holiday. Another negative was the kids club the girl there actually left our 4 year all by herself whilst in her care and we found her wondering round the main pool on her own crying so AVIOD !!!!!!!! The Kids club is also very rundown and in desperate need of an upgrade. The food was very good overall, although by the end of the week it had become a little repetitive. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel staff work very hard to keep the grounds spotless and all staff work so hard and are so friendly to you on the bars and restaurants. Reception staff not great ......On arrival the guy was actually smoking on the desk.
