Just coming to the end of our holiday, really enjoyed our week here, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean , we have a fridge in our room and aircon, WiFi at no extra cost. I like the food plenty of selection but we would have liked a selection of fruit at meal times, there are apples pears & oranges in the fridge. A lot of steps but there are ramps for disabled access. Gadget & Gizmo are the entertainers, very funny and great with kids as well as adults. It’s 300tlr to get a taxi in to Hisoranu… we’ve had a fabulous week, sad to leave, but thankyou Yel Hotel it’s been a perfect holiday xx

“Not again ha ha!”

Always welcome at this hotel. Met friends from years past. The slopes keep guests fit, seven accommodation blocks on split levels. Good food and drink. Like the 3pm jacket potatoes or pizza. Entertainment team great.

This hotel is has really pretty surroundings and architecture. The rooms are a bit tired but clean and cleaners come in daily. The location is about 5 miles from the beach and they say that there is a free shuttle to the beach but it is actually a shuttle bus organised by a private beach called Billy's Beach Bar on the Blue Lagoon beach. When you get to the beach they charge you 500 lira (approximately £9) a person to use the beach with umbrellas and sunbeds. It is a pretty and well kept beach but is a bit of an expensive beach trip when there were 5 of us. There are some supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel but a resort or such is a dolmus, bus or taxi ride away. We paid about £10 each way by taxi, to get to the beach side resort of Olidunez one evening. The staff are super friendly and there is a very friendly vibe in the hotel. The entertainment staff work hard and if you like organised entertainment then its available. The all inclusive element of it was a let down for us. The food was very canteen style and there weren't alot of different options for dinners and quite often they were lamb based. There were lots of salad varieties and a desert table that had lots of different cakes that all tasted the same. There is an ice cream cart open for an hour in the evening but they only give you 1 scoop a person. They do have snacks in the afternoon where you can get a baked potato or pizza or lamb burger or omeltte which we found better than the lunch service. The labels of the food weren't easy to interpret what the dish was and when I asked the catering staff they couldn't tell me what was in the food. The drinks were very watered down however there was never a queue and the bar staff were friendly and service was good. If you dont mind eating what you get basic canteen style and you like entertainment and a friendly environment then this is a lovely hotel. We wouldn't return as we prefer to be closer to the beach and have more variety of food. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is a brilliant hotel the entertainment staff Gadget and Gizmo are the best entertainers and keep everyone busy and happy. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the cleaners work really hard. The bar staff are friendly and keep the drinks flowing with hardly any queues. The pancake man at breakfast is always happy and cooks great omelette eggs bread etc its the best meal of the day. Lunchtime there needs to be cheese and meat to go with the salad they are readily available at breakfast so why not lunch. The snack bar serves delicious food from 3pm until 4.30. Unfortunately the evening meal was a huge letdown this year apart from the gorgeous Sunday dinner I am not a fussy eater and usually find something to eat, there was a problem with keeping the food hot the bain Marie's were not working and it took a few days to fix. On 2 occasions chicken that was still raw in the middle was served up on top of other chicken there was also served up liver that was still pink and cold/raw in the middle. On fish night they ran out of fish 10 minutes into service and they said they were not cooking anymore until the owner stepped in and ordered them to cook more which was hurriedly cooked but then served still frozen and raw. They ran out of food several times and did not replenish the dishes. One night everything was really spicy even the rice and not everyone can eat spicy food there is usually some dishes available that are not spicy. Other years they have cooked beautiful shepherds pie lasagna etc but for some reason this year they put chilli in it. The staff work really hard and long hours but the food needs sorting quickly before someone is seriously ill. I put in complaints but never heard anything from the management. We will be returning next year because we love the hotel and the staff and have made a lot of friends but I hope the food has improved by 100% otherwise we will have to eat out more.
