Gorgeous hotel. Everybody so welcoming and kind. Few situations that needed attention while I was there and these matters were dealt with; promptly and efficiently. I could not fault the staff at all. This hotel is situated 20 minutes from the airport; which is ideal after a long day travelling. Everyone smiley and happy and ready to greet you on arrival. Staff have a very good level of English. The languages in which they speak individually, are located on their name badges in the form of the country flags. Food was delicious, such a big variety. Themed food nights. Never seen so much choice. All staff very happy to help and prompt with removing glasses and plates once we had finished. Hotel tidy and clean. Immaculate in fact. Rooms were very lovely. Plenty of space, bottles of water daily, room Cleaned daily. Arcade was just up the children’s street. Although some of the games were a little steep, (police cars) the children enjoyed them nonetheless. Myself and my daughters also had a photo shoot. She was so professional; we came away with some of the most beautiful photos I think I’ve ever seen of me and my little family. Considering slightly out of season, this did not fault the evening entertainment. We had Kenyan dancers and acrobatics. Colour themed nights, bingo, kids parties/disco’s. I would say that daytime entertainment could have been better but again this could because we were slightly out of season for our trip. Noise level really wasn’t an issue as again, we were out of season. There was no rush for beds. You were guaranteed. The weather was surprisingly hot! We had a very lucky week. Value for money, was very good. Special thanks to Epek and Burchin. All restaurant/bar staff very smiley and helpful also. Nothing was too much trouble. I hope to come back as soon as possible. We visited in April and found it quite peaceful, so we can’t really compare it to the busy summer season. We’re an older couple with no children, so this quieter time suited us perfectly. We booked last minute and got a fantastic deal from TUI, including airport transfers of only 20 minutes - which was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. The local town is about a twenty-minute walk, but it’s not a big or particularly beautiful place, with nothing really interesting to see except for the usual Turkish “genuine fakes” clothing shops, which are slightly cheaper than the ones on-site. We didn’t realise there were different room options but we emailed the hotel and politely asked for a ground-floor room if possible. We were given a lovely, spacious family room (2004) on the ground floor of the first block, next to the reception. We had a couple of minor issues with the room that reception quickly sorted out (the safe and the key card). Also, the air con didn’t seem to work on the cold setting—it just went warm or off—but we didn’t mention it because we didn’t need it! The hotel is kept spotlessly clean, and the staff are all friendly (especially ISA in the restaurant and Tugba in the Chill Out bar), who remembered our drink choices after the first day. The alcoholic drinks were fairly basic, using only local spirits unless you paid extra, which is pretty standard, but the cocktails were sweet and syrupy and didn’t use any fresh juices, which was slightly disappointing. The pools were very cold, and we never saw more than three people brave enough to swim and use the slides. There were plenty of sunbeds by the pool, but only about ten per cent were occupied (and even less on the beach) however many were under fixed sun shades, which might be more of a drawback in the high season. The food was very good and there was a lot of choice. We’ve never seen a hotel buffet with so much variety, including plenty of options for people with dietary restrictions. The children’s area, with lower serving stations and tables, looked amazing and so cute! There were three à la carte restaurants to choose from: Green & Grill (steakhouse) Levante (Turkish) and an Asian one. We were advised to book quickly, but only three days in advance, so we spread our visits throughout the week. We tried them all, and each had only a few tables occupied, so the service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We didn’t participate in any of the daytime activities like darts, archery, football or yoga, but the evening entertainment was great—AcroAfrica in the amphitheatre, Apocalypse, music bingo and White Night in the Chill Out Bar. One morning, we were woken by a fire alarm and told to leave the room immediately & not to use the lifts (which didn’t affect us). There didn’t seem to be any staff outside giving instructions, but a sign indicated the assembly point was on the beach - quite a walk from the building. As we got closer, a few people had gathered by the pool, and it seemed like a false alarm, so they were heading back inside. The organisation of this was a bit lacking. Overall, we had a lovely and relaxing Easter break and would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar experience during the low season.

The resort is exactly what you expect from the photos and everything in the grounds and eating areas are tidy and clean. The food was varied and well made with themes most days. The alcohol was low grade with a generic red/ white wine on offer but the cocktails were freshly made with care. The reception staff were varied some were super friendly and others a bit grumpy, but you quickly learned who to go to. A waiter called Isa in the dining hall was especially friendly and professional. On day two he remembered I like two coffees for breakfast and brought my second over without me needing to ask. He seemed to really like his job and making people feel relaxed and looked after. I hope the hotel pays him well he is worth every penny. The hotel room was very clean and had enough space for me and my daughter ( we had a family room) it was disappointing that the toiletries were like in a budget hotel with just a generic soap/shampoo and no conditioner or lotion. I’ve stayed in other Tui Blu hotels with much better provisions. Overall it was a lovely place I would definitely go to Turkey this time of year again, not sure I would go when it is busy and you have to queue for drinks and water slides. I got a good deal so it was worth the money if it cost more the negative parts might have bothered me a lot more.

We booked this hotel after reading all the fantastic reviews from last year, unfortunately we’ve been underwhelmed and suspect there’s been a change of management. The hotel itself is nice, but the severe lack of service really lets it down. I can count on one hand the number of staff who have interacted with us this week. So many chiefs and not enough Indians. You would think it being the start of the season staff would be happy and raring to go, but no, most staff failed to crack a smile, or even make eye contact, they don’t want to converse and they don’t want to serve. No table service for drinks, slow at clearing tables. Thank you to Isa at the lunch restaurant for always making an effort and bringing us drinks. Tropical needs more Isa’s!!!!! Also thanks to the entertainment manager for making us smile with the darts. I really hope the hotel can change things round, because it could be great.
