“Great Holiday”

We have been in sundance resort in May 2022 and have truly enjoyed every minute. Everything from food to service was very nice. Rooms cleaned and restocked everyday. I would highly recommend to family and friends.

We have just come back from Sundance resort turgutreis We arrived at hotel early hours of morning but that was our choice of flight times as we wanted a smaller airport to fly from. We went into hotel where we were met by reception staff who were very friendly. Check in was so easy and then porter took all our bags up to room which were all on 2 floors. We were given room 204 which looks out to front of hotel with lovely gardens which were kept very clean and tidy. The room was a twin room with air con,shower,dressing area with wardrobes. The room was very clean and plenty of room. Checked the fridge which had water in so was nice and cold. That did get topped up everyday free of charge. So we dropped luggage and went for look around the reception area was very big and had a lobby bar which was open daily till 12.00am. Went down to restaurant which was open till 1 am for those that fancies midnight snack. The restaurant was large air con with plenty of room to move about. There was additional seating outside which was overlooking the Aegean and the sunset from there was amazing. The choice of food was really good and of a good standard. Breakfast was a choice of hot or cold but please don't expect to get bacon as it's not served as it's a Muslim country so no pig produces are served. But there was plenty without that anyway. Lunch was again a really good choice and plenty of it. If you just fancied a snack then the snack bar downstairs was also excellent food. There was chicken, beef, fish, vegetarian options available every day. So you didn't go hungry. There was food available from 7.30am till 9.30pm everyday. Then went down to pool bar which was open 24hrs a day where the pool was. There was plenty of choice of drinks alcoholic or non alcoholic. They kept all the areas very clean and tidy. Just off the pool bar and you were on the beach. Sunbeds were available on the beach, jetty and around the pool free of charge. Also you could get towels everyday for beach, sunbeds which were changed once a day. The spa was great but you do have to pay for any treatments. We had a Turkish bath on the first day which was relaxing and helps you tan better. Ethan was the manager and spoke very good english. We did notice a lot of staff didn't speak English but they usually understood what you wanted. Most of the assistant managers spoke English and they were about all of the time. Staff had different uniforms depending where they worked and they were very clean & tidy. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. We were well looked after for all the holiday. There was entertainment everyday from 10am till 12.30pm which included yoga,water aerobics, darts then in the afternoon 3pm til 5pm was more activities. Then from 9pm til late with kids mini club, live band, disco, bingo etc. If you fancied a nightclub the animation team Sam,Bob & Mono were the guys to see they took you and brought you back from nightclub which was in Bodrum /Gumbet. The animation team do like to get you involved with the activities so don't be boring get involved. Sam, Bob & Mono were great guys and very friendly polite and up for a good laugh. Thanks guys for keeping us enterained. There was plenty of facilities spa, indoor pool, gym, pool table, table tennis so you didn't have time to get bored. If you fancied a walk along the beach it took you to the town. It's was about 20-30 minute walk. Or if you asked at reception they would get you a taxi which was approx 35 lira (£2.00). There was plenty shops to browse round in the town. The only thing we did notice was only a couple of shops near hotel but they did have plenty of choice. I must say we had a really relaxing & chilled out holiday which was great after the horrible pandemic. We met some great people will put there and would definitely be going back.

Good things and bad things. Place seemed to be over run by teenage staff more interested in chatting up girls. Food was ok some nights and terrible the next. They use the leftovers well for lunch the day after. The cakes are amazing though. All the sunloungers by the pool had been reserved by 7am and the pool area is quite loud, bit if a party atmosphere, if your looking for a quieter spot to sunbathe then go out to the Jetty. All the cleaners do is make the beds and empty the bins. Floors are filthy, shower and toilet both leaked. If you don't like cats then don't book this hotel as the strays are everywhere even in the restaurant while your eating. On the up side the beer was cold and the weather was beautiful
