“Beautiful clean hotel and great staff”

The Calista resort is a stunning hotel. We are a family with 3 young children. The staff are very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. The rooms were cleaned to a great standard every day and the mini bar and coffee/tea facilities fully stocked. The buffet was brilliant, lots of options to suit everyone and different every day. The pools were also great - the staff even opened up the water slides for us even though it was quiet. When our little boy became ill with chicken pox when we were over there, the staff couldn't do enough for us, even delivering a toy package to our room. Thank you everyone, we will definitely be back!

An amazing family experience at Calista. The hotel is spotless, accommodation really comfortable and so nice surrounded by the lovely gardens and beautiful pools. staff in all areas were superb - such high quality of service from the beginning to the end, including a late check out which was so helpful. The fact there were three heated pools was fantastic for us, particularly on the cooler damper days. So much choice in terms of food outlets and the all inclusive very generous. Only very minor request would have been a greater selection of fruits - strawberries, melon, pears, mixed fruit salad perhaps. We really enjoyed Harmony bistro and The Garden as well as the wee cafe by the beach for a refreshing ice cream. And to the kids club, really the best we have ever experienced. Amazing facility, a great selection of activities and the Lego room and woodwork experience a real hit. Daily archery also much loved. Thank you to all the wonderful staff there, especially Priscilla who was amazing with our boys and made them feel so welcome. We really hope to return to this wonderful resort that we didn’t want to leave,

We really enjoyed our stay here at the resort! Everything was wonderful-the facilities are top-notch, and the staff is incredibly courteous and helpful. special highlight for us is the Cally Kids CIub. Our 5-year-old had a lot of fun with all the activities, and her favorite teacher, Martina, was truly exceptional. She and all other teachers at the club pay much attention to curate interesting activities for the kids. They all provide so much care and attention, which we really appreciate. We also wanted to mention the excellent service from the concierge. we needed diaper rash cream for our toddler; the team arranged for it to be delivered from a pharmacy within an hour. This prompt help was a huge relief, as it saved us from having to leave the resort to find a pharmacy ourselves. The food has also been great-we enjoyed the large spread and the fact that there is something for the whole family to enjoy.

We stayed at Calista Luxury Resort over the Easter holidays with our two daughters (11 and 10), as part of a wider family group. From the outset, the hotel was incredibly helpful in making sure our rooms were close together and that we could sit together, or across nearby tables, at mealtimes which made a big difference travelling as a group. We booked the holiday at a really good price, and overall felt it offered strong value, particularly for the level of service and facilities. We’ve previously stayed at Ela Excellence Resort Belek and Arum Barut Collection, and this hotel sat nicely between the two. Ela felt very large, to the point where it could take 20 minutes to get back to the room if you forgot something, whereas Arum was much smaller with slightly less on offer. Calista felt like a well-balanced middle ground, easy to navigate but still with plenty to do. The service across the hotel was consistently strong. Staff were friendly, attentive and always willing to help, and there were plenty of team members visible, particularly around the bars. The lobby bar in the evenings was especially well staffed, so you were never waiting long. There’s also a fantastic little coffee shop just off the lobby serving great coffee, cookies and treats, which became a regular stop for us. Given the time of year, heated pools were really important for us and this is where the hotel really delivered. The indoor spa pool, spa facilities, and even the slides pool were all heated to a very good level, meaning the children could swim comfortably every day. This made a huge difference to the overall experience. The rooms were spacious and well laid out, and the resort itself is very well thought through. The grounds feel organised and easy to move around, and everything is within a comfortable distance. The Harmony Restaurant in particular stood out and was consistently very good. The gym was also a really good space, well equipped and easy to use. The only slight downside was that there isn’t a separate studio for classes, so things like the morning yoga session sometimes took place within the gym itself, which reduced floor space if you were wanting to use weights at the same time. That said, the coffee bar just outside the gym being open was a great touch, being able to grab a fresh coffee straight after a workout was something we really appreciated. It’s also worth noting that a few facilities weren’t open during our stay, including the garden restaurant and beach restaurant, which is fairly typical for early season. However, the hotel handled this really well and were proactive in offering alternatives and accommodating guests, which we appreciated. If there was one area that didn’t quite match the rest of the hotel, it would be the main buffet. It was good, but not at the level we’ve experienced in other Turkish or Greek resorts. It didn’t feel quite as fresh or as varied, and lacked some of the theatre you often see, such as live cooking stations. For example, at Arum Barut Collection there was a fresh pasta station each evening with different sauces and chefs cooking in front of you, which added a bit more variety and experience. At Calista, the buffet felt more limited in comparison, which stood out slightly given how strong everything else was. Overall, though, this is a fantastic hotel that delivers a really well-rounded experience, particularly for families. Great service, thoughtful layout, excellent heated pools, and a good balance of size and facilities. We would definitely consider returning, especially at a similar time of year.
