We have just returned from a week at the Gloria serenity hotel, from the moment we arrived everything has been perfect. We have been really impressed by the quality of the room, the beautiful hotel and the fabulous food. The beach, the loungers and the surroundings are gorgeous. All of the staff were absolutely lovely. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Gloria Serenity Resort. We stayed in one of the Garden Villas, which was superb, spacious, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to relax. The service throughout the resort was exceptional. A special mention must go to Ibrahim, who looked after us at Estela 24/7, the main buffet restaurant, and Route 66. He consistently went above and beyond to make our stay special and was always friendly, attentive, and professional. We also received excellent service from Serhat at River Landing Fish Restaurant, who was incredibly accommodating and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Another standout was Ozkan at G-Venture, who provided fantastic drinks service and always greeted us with a smile. A special thank you as well to Isa at Traces Beach Restaurant. His attention to detail was remarkable – by the end of our stay, he would have our wine ready and waiting when he saw us arriving for lunch, which made us feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. The food throughout the resort was wonderful. Every restaurant we visited offered delicious, high-quality dishes, excellent presentation, and plenty of variety. Whether it was the buffet, à la carte restaurants, or beach dining, the standard was consistently outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Combined with the exceptional service from the staff, it made for a truly memorable holiday. Thank you to everyone at Gloria Serenity for such a wonderful experience. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend the resort to anyone looking for a luxury holiday with first-class service.

The facilities, the rooms and the food are very good. The Turkish employees were friendly and professional as always. Five stars for that, but there’s more to five star resort as just buildings and food. We’re loyal customers for many years. This was the eight time that we spend are holiday at the Serenity. This time, it was a disappointing experience. The hotel used to have a mixture of guests from different nationalities. These days are gone. The guests are ninety precent Russians, and they for sure have a different mentality and approach on behaviour. The majority were families with children. I’ve children myself, and I don’t have anything against children, but if football is being played in the outside dining facilities something is wrong. I informed guest relations, but there answer was that the Serenity is a family friendly hotel. Last years, the hotel expanded. They built a new jetty on which you can spend the day on an overpriced chair. You’ll have a private atmosphere because not many guests are willing to spend their money there. Same for the restaurants, for most you’ve to pay an additional fee. Same for the wine card, you got the all inclusive card, and the extra card. All inclusive for me means all inclusive, and not add on after add on. At the beach, the Russian part of the beach crew reserves seats for Russian who are willing to pay extra money for it. It’s pure corruption. Some of the front line seats are being blocked by this guy. It’s difficult to get a chair after 1200 if you’re not willing to pay additional money or give in to extortion. We also informed one of the managers about it, but again everything is friendly noted but not solved. In the past guest relations were visible and approachable. They inquired with the guest during the meals or at the beach. Now, we received a call 4 hours before our departure (0300 AM) if everything was fine and if I would like to write a recommendation. Well, now you’ve it. To summarise, if you want to have a feeling if you’re in Sochi, this is the place to be. If you’re looking for a location with privacy, style and genuine luxury, go somewhere else.
