We recently returned from our stay, and while there were some absolute highlights that made our holiday, a few frustrating service and maintenance issues held it back from being perfect. The Highlights: The Food & Drink: Food is available 24/7 which is good and the food options are great - if you eat meat and fish, this hotel is NOT for vegetarians. The desserts are incredible however —especially the baklava and the baked cheesecake. The cocktail menu has a fantastic selection, and the coffee from the little coffee shack is great (but skip the buffet coffee machines, which desperately need descaling). The Staff: Waiters Yucel and Mehmet provided brilliant service of an evening, remembering what we drank and ensuring we were always topped up. Anil at the gym was great, and our cleaner, Gulla, kept everything absolutely immaculate and was always super smiley.  Gulendam was also a stand out staff member. After complaining about the unbearable food situation (we are a vegetarian family) she went above and beyond to ensure we had something to eat each night (after Jet2 had done nothing for 6 days of our 10 day holiday). In fact, any concerns we had she addressed and ensured constant communication so we never felt brushed off. Unfortunately, I feel the way she was spoken to by her manager was a disgrace and I honestly think she is wasted at this hotel because she is incredible at her job and deserves to be treated with respect.  The Grounds & Facilities: The resort grounds are absolutely spotless, and we loved the cat house and signs around the property providing the strays food and water this was a very big thumbs up from us. The waterpark is excellent and feels very safe, largely thanks to Efe the lifeguard, who does a great job. Plus, there was never a struggle to get a sunbed! The evening shows were also very high quality, the Michael Jackson show was actually incredible. The Rooms: Clean with plenty of towels and toiletries provided throughout our stay (toothbrush / comb / shampoo / conditioner / body wash / razor etc / cotton buds / face pads). The Disappointments: Room & Maintenance Issues: While clean, the rooms are on the small side. We booked a city view, but it was looking at a dump / scrap yard site - we were told there were no alternative rooms but we know that was a lie because another family had the same issue and they moved them the same night - after us. Inside the room, the plug socket next to the bed (the one we all use for our phone charger) didn’t work, the closet light switch was highly temperamental, and the provided hairdryer is horrific (bring your own!). Service Breakdown: General requests to front desk/guest relations are completely ignored. It took over 6 phone calls to get the broken plug socket looked at. The closet light switch never was fixed. They offer a "pillow menu," but it is entirely pointless as requests aren't fulfilled. While the main restaurant staff are great, the pool bar service and staff were awful. The queues for the pool bar were the worst aspect of this hotel for me. Constant queues of people, taking fifteen minutes easily to get a drink. They were completely understaffed with poor personable skills. Staff would frequently use their phones whilst serving you or chat amongst themselves like you didn’t exist. They also continuously ignored our children when they were trying to get a drink. The coffee machine at the bar is constantly broken too  so don’t bother. Facilities: The main pool is absolutely freezing so I never went in it. Also, a bizarre detail—the gym towels consistently smelled like greasy food, which isn't what you want when working out. Verdict: A clean resort that is good for meat and fish eaters but management really needs to address pool bar service, room upkeep, and communication.
