Good food choices and memin in the main restaurant his service was the best I have ever had and we have stayed in many top hotels all over the world. Would definitely come again. “Generally a great week”

Stayed recently with my son and 3 grandsons. Beautiful hotel with on the whole very friendly and helpful staff , kept very clean and tidy My personal experience was as follows:- Arrived in the early hours , had to wait a while at reception, no smile or welcome drink , all matter of fact . Had emailed the hotel earlier to upgrade to a suite , this was accommodated at a significant extra cost . I was slightly disappointed with the room, it had the space and a wonderful wrap round balcony , but it was very dated with stains on the old looking curtains, definitely needed an overhaul. No bed for the 5th person in our party, however a flimsy looking camp bed was wheeled in not long after . The restaurant was busy but we always managed to find a table, food varied and tasty , kept warm. All staff were helpful, a special mention to the young men and ladies on roller skates who work tirelessly all day delivering drinks with a smile , they certainly earn their money. Also to the gentleman at the activity pool who is so helpful and friendly, always smiling, helping with towels etc . Entertainment was quite varied and enjoyable. Boys loved the water slides, definitely a highlight of their holiday and the biggest reason we chose this hotel. All in all a great week in a large , clean friendly hotel. The only other thing that spoilt our week slightly was that we were unable to keep our room past check out time of 12pm , we didn’t actually expect this , but to have your bands cut off and given a flimsy piece of paper seems rather ridiculous. We could use the facilities but the boys had no bands for the water slides, luckily not noticed. Then no courtesy room to shower, told to use the limited showers in the spa, no shower gel or even shampoo in the dispenser to wash with , no towels unless you went searching the whole area, other guests using the limited space, it wasn’t what I expected from a “ 5 star “ hotel, and we left feeling a little aggrieved. To sum up , generally a great week , but for the price maybe some aspects let it down . Wouldn’t return , but generally don’t return as plenty more hotels to experience.

We arrived Saturday evening. Nice welcome on reception. Our room is rather on the small side compared to other hotels in Turkey. The sofa bed wasn’t made up but was quickly fixed. We arrived Saturday evening. Nice welcome on reception. Our room is rather on the small side compared to other hotels in Turkey. The sofa bed wasn’t made up but was quickly fixed. On Sunday the lock on our room door broke and we couldn’t get in. This caused issue as we needed medication from the room. After a lot of up and down trying to speak to someone who could help which was stressful an engineer came and fixed the lock. Well so we thought. Turns out they did temp fix and we couldn’t lock from inside. I emailed but no reply. No reply from guest services either. At breakfast today a man from guest services asked how my stay was so explained the lock, also the light in bathroom doesn’t work and plug socket is hanging off in bathroom. Very dangerous. We have also had an issue with cleaning. Cleaner is nice and does a great job but always forgets to replace the towels. The first day we just hang them outside to dry save changing them but she took them away and forgot to replace them. We realised mid shower. Today they only gave us two towels but there are four of us and we don’t share towels at home so won’t be sharing towels on an expensive holiday. The food is very limited. Staff are friendly at bars and restaurants. Haven’t seen much entertainment yet so unable to comment but I would say this is more a 3star hotel. It’s a great shame as had high hopes and like all holidays now they cost the earth. Poor service really when no one communicates once you have highlighted safety issues in the room. I appreciate the rules here might differ from UK ones.
