I wanted to give a full review on this and I also wanted it to reflect on the time of year it is; so its a true reflection of the month of May. The 1st thing of note, is that this was recommended to us by a family who visited in the July period, so we can reflect on their expereince and fill in the gaps that weren't there when we visited. Accomodation We had a garden view, it was a room to accommodate 3 adults, that being 2 parents and a teenager over 14 years. It suited us because we didn't plan to spend any time in the room. However be aware it gets very little sun on a very small balcony, and hasnt alot of floor space in the main room when a temporary bed is put up in there. Theres not alot of wardrobe space and trying to get clothes hangers (we had 3) took 5 days for another 3!. Its very clean though and rooms are modern. You can use Netflix or Google films in the room but the channels are basic turkish. Food & Restaurants Breakfast is served from 1 place only, which is the buffet. I could moan about it but it was a typical all inclusive breakfast, lots to choose from but walked a mile to find out what you wanted or even liked. Lunch - Its was May, so it seemed very limited. During the day from 12.30 to 14.30 you had access to the all inclusive buffet, usual ... same old... and from 12.30 to 17.30 you had access to 2 restaurants with very limited menus, which sold mainly pizza and cold chips and pretty good pasta (cold) which was Italian and the other which sold a limited menu from a meze style place, mainly sold salads and Turkish pizza (Pita). You could get a decent small beer in both but the wine was likened to sherry vinegar. There were areas visibly closed, which looked like a burger bar, hookah bar but there is a beach bar and an arena bar where you can have drinks and also an ice cream and cakes stall which seemed to have endless queues. Theres an Irish bar but no one serves drinks in there which amazed me! You can watch football and sports in there so im sure it will be popular with big games and a pastry bar. Evening meals are incredibly disappointing. For all inclusive you go to the main buffet which the food is sub standard compared to other all inclusive hotels. Theres very limited meats, and kebabs, no seafood, no steaks! which I thought would be popular and very difficult to pull a meal together without trying lots of small portions, we were sick after 2 days so decided to explore our options. EU 40 each we could dine at a restaurant which opened on alternative nights, steak, meze, seafood. This was the better or only option or to get room service (all chargeable) Entertainment Total rubbish! Pools, waterside and sports Excellent. 50 metre pool is fabulous and I swam every day, its very quiet but be aware its adults only (over 18) water slides are great, just enough to keep the kids happy, plenty of kiddies pools to go to. There are 3 padel courts where you just sign the rackets in and out (brand new) and a basketball and football court. Water sports are expensive, you have to be 18 to ride a jetski and its 70 euro for 10 mins. Please be aware like most of Turkey things cash only, any card payments are 20% more on top. If your like us and dont carry cash just be aware that Turkey is a very cash centric country and they dont like cards. They will take most currencies but there is no cash point on the site. Its a 60 minute round walk to the nearest cash point and 25 euro in a taxi (cash only). Cabanas Excellent. Certainly the highlight of our holiday and we booked the pier cabana twice. Service is absolutely 💯 top class. A gentleman named Murat was absolutely brilliant. From 10am to 18.00. He constantly attended the cabana, serving coffee, fruit, lunch (from Italian and the meze restaurants) and snacks throughout the day. Champagne on arrival and a fridge full of drinks and beer which was replenished throughout the day. The guy wouldn't even take a tip, absolute brilliant experience which I would recommend. Gencay booked us into this and checked we were ok through the day even cleaned our sunglasses, he was brilliant! Overall its a great hotel but if im honest it typifies and all inclusive hotel. As my wife tells me, dont go all inclusive if you dont like the same food! Which is right, i would recommend this hotel for families of all ages and the people make this hotel very special.
