⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **A Fantastic Family Holiday at Swandor Topkapi Palace – Antalya, Turkey** As an independent travel agent, I have seen Swandor Topkapi Palace appear countless times across my clients’ social media pages and holiday photos. It is a hotel that I had heard a lot about, and after seeing so many of my clients enjoying their holidays there, I thought to myself: *why not experience it for myself?* So, I decided to book a family holiday through Jet2 and put the hotel to the test myself. Travelling were myself, my wife and our three children, aged 6, 5 and 1. This was our first holiday as a family of five, so, as you can imagine, we had our work cut out for us! Travelling with three young children can be challenging, and when choosing a hotel, you naturally want somewhere that is comfortable, clean, family-friendly, well organised and capable of keeping both the children and the adults happy. Before travelling, I contacted the hotel to let them know about our upcoming stay. I explained that I am an independent travel agent and that I was looking forward to experiencing the hotel personally so that I could confidently recommend it to my clients and promote it through my travel business. Within just a couple of hours, I received a response from Olga, the Guest Relations Manager. From the very first communication, Olga was incredibly warm, welcoming and professional. Words genuinely cannot describe how hospitable she was, both before and during our stay. ## 🏨 Arrival & First Impressions On arrival at the hotel, we completed our check-in and were greeted by one of Olga’s colleagues, who personally accompanied us to our room. We were given information about the hotel facilities, dining options and entertainment, which was extremely helpful when travelling with three young children and trying to get our bearings. What really stood out to me was the level of personal care. Later that evening, I received a message from Olga checking that we had arrived safely, settled into our room and that everything was okay. This was a lovely touch and immediately showed me that the Guest Relations team genuinely cared about the guest experience rather than simply completing a check-in and moving on. ## 🛏️ Our Room Olga arranged for us to stay in a high-floor corner Family Deluxe Room, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was extremely spacious, clean and very comfortable for a family of five. One of the biggest advantages for us was having a separate bedroom area for the children, which made a huge difference. Anyone travelling with young children will understand how valuable it is to have a little separation between the children’s sleeping area and the adults’ space. A baby cot had also been prepared in the room before our arrival, which was incredibly convenient and meant we did not have to worry about arranging this after a long journey with three tired children. The room had fantastic views overlooking the pools and towards the sea, and being on a higher floor gave us a lovely perspective of the resort. We also received complimentary desserts, fruit and wine in the room on arrival, which was a really thoughtful welcome gesture. During my stay, I also walked around different areas of the hotel and noticed how efficient and professional the housekeeping team were. The rooms that were unoccupied appeared immaculately clean, and the housekeeping staff were polite and hardworking. ## 🍽️ Dining & Food When travelling with children, food is always a major consideration for parents. You want variety, you want choice and, most importantly, you want to know that there will be something that everyone in the family can enjoy. The buffet offered a fantastic variety of food, with plenty of different options available. Every evening brought different choices, which meant that we never felt as though we were eating the same food every day. Of course, the biggest attraction for our children was the dessert section! They could hardly keep away from it. There must have been more than 50 different desserts available, and it was definitely a highlight for them. The buffet restaurant can get busy at certain times, particularly around the main opening times, so my recommendation would be to arrive early if you prefer a quieter dining experience and want to get settled before the main rush. However, even when busy, there was never a shortage of food, and the selection continued to be replenished. One of the highlights of our stay was a complimentary meal arranged by Olga for myself and my family at **A’la Carte Hürrem**. The restaurant served traditional Turkish cuisine, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff were amazing, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was simply outstanding. In fact, it was so good that we went back a second time! That really says everything. As a family, we enjoyed the experience so much that we genuinely wanted to return. The food was full of flavour, beautifully prepared and gave us a chance to enjoy some traditional Turkish cuisine during our stay. During the day, there were also plenty of places around the resort to grab something to eat. **Derya Restaurant**, located near the beach, was a great option when we wanted a quick snack or something more casual. There was a good variety of food available, making it very convenient when spending the day around the pool or beach. ## 🎭 Entertainment The evening entertainment was something that our family looked forward to every night. There was a different show each evening, ranging from live singing performances to impressive stunt shows. The entertainment programme offered plenty of variety, and there was always something different to look forward to. During the day, there was also plenty happening around the pool areas. From water aerobics to pool discos and other activities, there was always something going on. The great thing about the entertainment programme is that you could be as involved as you wanted. If you wanted to join in, there were plenty of activities. If you simply wanted to relax and watch, there was plenty of that too. ## 👧🧒 Kids Club The kids’ facilities were another major highlight for us. The kids’ club was fantastic and was a real bonus when travelling with three young children. Parents know that family holidays are wonderful, but they can also be exhausting, so having the opportunity to let the children enjoy themselves in a safe and supervised environment while the parents have a little time to relax is incredibly valuable. The staff were friendly and professional, and the children were well looked after. The kids’ club also had its own food buffet station, which I thought was a fantastic idea. There were even little cots and beds available for children who needed to have a nap. This was particularly useful for families with younger children. It was clear that the facilities had been designed with families in mind, and not simply as an afterthought. ## 👩‍💼 Staff & Guest Relations For me, the staff are one of the biggest strengths of this hotel. Throughout our stay, we found the staff to be courteous, caring and professional. What impressed me most was the genuine effort made to engage with guests. There were staff members regularly walking around the hotel and speaking to guests, asking how their holiday was going and whether there was anything they could do to improve their stay. In my opinion, constantly seeking feedback is exceptional customer service. It shows that the hotel is genuinely interested in creating the experience that guests want rather than simply assuming everything is fine. During our stay, Olga and her team regularly checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. This level of personal attention made us feel extremely valued as guests. Olga is a real asset to the Swandor Group. Her hospitality, professionalism and genuine care for guests are exceptional, and she has a fantastic team around her who clearly work incredibly hard to ensure that guests have a memorable stay. ## 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Travelling as a Family of Five This was our first holiday as a family of five, with children aged 6, 5 and 1, so we knew that choosing the right hotel was extremely important. We needed somewhere that could cater for young children, provide plenty of food choices, offer activities and entertainment, provide a comfortable room and, most importantly, make the holiday enjoyable for everyone. Swandor Topkapi Palace delivered on all of those points. There was something for the children, something for the adults and plenty of opportunities for us to enjoy time together as a family. ## ⭐️ Final Thoughts As an independent travel agent, I have the opportunity to recommend hotels to clients, so it is important for me to experience properties personally whenever possible. After staying at Swandor Topkapi Palace with my wife and our three children, I can genuinely understand why this hotel appears so often in my clients’ holiday photos and social media posts. From the spacious family room and excellent food to the entertainment, kids’ facilities and, most importantly, the outstanding staff, this was a fantastic family holiday. The personal care we received from Olga and her Guest Relations team made a real difference to our experience. From responding to my initial enquiry before arrival to checking in on us after we had arrived, and then continuing to make sure everything was going well throughout our stay, the level of service was exceptional. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Swandor Topkapi Palace to my clients, friends and family. Excellent hotel overall but like everywhere there are pro's and con's. Many of the reviews which I read are subjective and in my opinion this hotel is 5* and a safe option for any family holiday. Pro's: Excellent and modern hotel, modern and clean rooms, amazing and excellent quality food and variety which really is first class. The hotel layout is well designed with multiple pools and no shortage of sun-beds (note some Con's), close to the beach with a great pier with additional sub-beds, bar and sea swimming options, excellent kids clubs, many bars and options for drinks, mainly quality alcohol (note some Con's). Most staff are friendly and approachable (note some Con's). There is a quality massage spa onsite where you can have a massage and Turkish Hammam which are amazing. Various good options for evening entertainment. Onsite water slides which are good enough for most children and young people although a limited number of water slide floaters mean that they are in demand. Con's: The hotel is excellent however is disconnected from any shops and is not in any walking distance of a town or community, so if you are staying in the hotel only this is fine. Alternatively there are many taxis and a bus stop directly outside the hotel. Direct transfer from the airport to the hotel will save you time because this hotel is almost at the end of Lara Beach and there are many hotels between this hotel and the airport. The beer is watered down. The onsite shop is minimum 3 - 5 times the price of anything in the UK. The sun-beds which are directly facing the pool are claimed at 6am with no control of towel placement. This hotel attracts classes of people from all over the world. Unfortunately we experienced thieves who we believe were children from other families who (knowingly to their parents) stole 2 x children's floaters and a volleyball. One floater was never recovered. These thieves knew what they were doing and had no conscious so my advice is do not leave any belongings by the pool. Some of the staff particularly those on the exit of the restaurant close to the shop did not seem happy, did not make any eye contact and did not smile which was slightly awkward. Some staff in the reception area did not seem to understand English very well however granted it is not their first language. Some staff would benefit from customer service training given the hotel rating and the level it wishes to operate, all staff need to operate at this level. The football field is not lit at night even though many kids and teenagers want to play football. The pool tables in the Irish bar are hogged by children who play game after game after game. In reality these are minor Con's however for some people these issues could influence their mood. Overall the hotel is excellent and we would return. Thank you Topkapi/Swandor.

We recently stayed at Swandor Hotels & Resorts Topkapı Palace as a family of four, and we had an incredible experience overall! ​The Vibe & Grounds: The Ottoman-inspired architecture is impressive, and the resort grounds are spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. ​For Families: The hotel is fantastic for kids and parents alike. Between the multi-pool complex, the waterpark slides, and the beach right on site, there was always something to keep everyone entertained. Food & Drinks: The food selection was great with plenty of variety throughout the day. Even with four different tastes in the family, everyone found plenty of delicious options at every meal.
