We just returned from our lovely 14-days vacation. Long story short, we enjoyed to stay here, but we would like to point a few things to owners / managers of this hotel. Below are some notes about our experience: 1. Foremost, we’d like to say a great THANKS to all staff in the hotel. You guys are amazing! Beach bar, pool bar, lobby bar, restaurants - you made our vacation really wonderful. Even though a lady or a guy does not speak English, they tried to understand us and help. Most of the staff speaks Russian which was good for me, but for my partner which is not Russian speaker, the English was a must. 2. Food / restaurants - We were not requesting something special, so we have good variety of food every main meal. Chicken, turkey, lamb, fishes, vegetables, and various side dishes. No major comments here, but I can understand why other people mentioned in their reviews about ‘not much variety’. From 5-star hotel I was expecting something ‘special’ at least 1-2 times, but no. As from ‘negative’ side, we’d like to say that a couple of times (sometimes twice a day), we have not fully ready / cooked meat from the grill zone (chicken, lamb). I believe, staff tried to be fast and unfortunately the food was not fully cooked and we need to returned plates to waiters (who need to throw all this to garbage). In addition, I’d like to mention a long line in grill zone.. Sometimes it was really annoying, but we changed our ‘eating’ time and tried to come after this ‘food fights’. 3. Bar - Local alcohol. Not that bad, especially a red wine. Of course, most of the customers asked for vodka or whiskey. We found a few nice cocktails (with / without alcohol). 4. Beach - To reach out to the beach you need to go through the tunnel (below the car road). The beach zone is kinda small if you see how many beds are there, you are close to each other, not much private space. We put our towels in early morning (before breakfast) to have 2 beds, a lot of people ‘booked’ 4-5 beds for 3 persons. I’d like to see there at least 1 more WC room for ladies. We had there a beach bar and some snacks starting 12:00(fast food / fried food). Overall, it is ok, but in a ‘hot’ season there will be a very crowded zone. Also, the beach is located near 2 others, so - more and more people near you. A few times people came from other hotels and stayed near us - no actions from staff. 5. Unfortunately, I’d like to start more about negative things. CLEANING. We’d like to add another feedback to the long list of the reviews regarding this topic. Thats the reason why I added 4 starts instead of 5 in this app (honestly, I’d add 3, but great staff made this review better). The rooms need a renovation, most of all in bathroom. To avoid some of the issues, cleaning ladies should clean this area before, not now when it is already destroyed. Besides that, I expect at least clean floors every day - I do not think that a simple vacuuming will be a big problem. As a gentle reminder, the hotel is positioning itself as a 5-star. For 11 days no one clean the table - i put my things aside to show ladies that it probably need to wipe with a dry rag - nothings. I added a photo to show how the table was cleaned. At least, towels were changed and additional blankets were got by the request the same evening. Also, WC near pools need to be renovated (same as in the beach). In ladies room, 1 toilet was broker a few days. I’d expect to close this hotel for deep cleaning and some small renovations which are really needed. 6. A lot of cats are leaving in the hotel zone. For us there was no problem, but I guess, people who have allergies on animals will be not happy to see cats in restaurants or lobby area. We really enjoyed our vacation here, but I do not think that we will return back in this place.

“3 stars hotel!”

NOT A 5 star hotel!!! Not sure where to start! Staff doesn’t speak English! If there is a problem there is no option to communicate properly. Hotel is visited mainly by locals and Russian. NOT A 5 star hotel!!! Not sure where to start! Staff doesn’t speak English! If there is a problem there is no option to communicate properly. Hotel is visited mainly by locals and Russian. First of all -we arrived at 4am and were given a room with one double and a single bed for 4 people!!! Only after we asked for it then we were given a MATTRESS! We were too tired to argue! In the morning we were told that it’s the travel agent’s fault ( On The Beach) and they added a foldable bed to that mattress. That bed could be hardly squeezed in to the room as so small. Bathroom semi clean but if you look properly you can see very dirty and stained fabric on chairs and dirty bathroom. Cleaning ladies are friendly but no option to communicate with them. One day they knocked and knocked so I opened and said that I want her to come back later. She nodded and then literally 5 minutes later she was opening the door. Then my husband stopped her and tried to translate with phone sadly with no much luck. Hotel has 3 parts-main with reception and restaurant, second building-like a ghost city with unused bar space and some old sofas in the sitting area. There is also a “patisserie “ there but do not get your hopes-it has only the same cakes and few biscuits as in the restaurant during meal time. 3rd part consists apartments around furthest pool. And there is ONE restaurant in main building so during meal times it gets absolutely CRAZY! I had to in the queue for 45 MINUTES just to get some chips for my daughters! If you come late there will be no food left. I mean there will be some but if you want chicken or bit better bits you have to be early and obviously queue! Food- Poor! For 8 days stay there was only chicken, some beef and fish. No nice lamb like in other hotels. Cheap selection! And I was under the impression that left overs were re-used for different meals like stew. Biggest disappointment was fruit selection. Coming to Turkey in the season I was expecting nice fruits. Instead just apples, pieces of oranges, grapefruit and if you lucky and early few times some apricots. No watermelon, no peaches even though it was a season! My child is diabetic so the extra sweet cakes ( all tasted the same) were not for her but sadly she couldn’t enjoy nice fruits either as there were none! Kids club-visited once! The supposed to be club runner was sat and played cards with one child. Few other left to do some bracelets. We were not greeted /welcomed. I had to look around to find some activities for my children. There was not even a single sheet of paper to draw/paint. Some colouring books with most pictures coloured already. Some games, play dough and few bits to make bracelets . Again -staff spoke limited English. The same person was then running mini disco and tried to kill the time by having the same conversation every night ( in Turkish or Russian) I can understand Russian hence I know that it was the SAME every night. She was also checking her watch while leading the dance like she was checking how much longer she needs to keep the disco going. Very unprofessional . The only good thing was selection of pools. Unfortunately their condition was not gratest either. All railings were lose and one had broken and lose step ( under the water) which was very unsafe! Very disappointing experience and I feel like we wasted our money!

“Big let down!”

Rooms- Room was clean and well maintained, our balcony door could not close so was a bit worrying at night but we was in the 5th floor so not to inconvenient. The cleaners were absolutely lovely! A great asset to the hotel as a whole and very welcoming to us every time we saw them! Hotel- the hotel was big some areas needed maintenance but overall public areas were clean. Restaurant- this area was the biggest let down. The food was horrible and mainly catered towards Eastern Europeans, unfortunately couldn’t find any Turkish cuisine which was odd considering we’re in turkey! If you have an allergy then good luck as absolutely nothing was labelled and you had to ask staff what things were. This was difficult at times as a lot of staff did not understand English so could not tell us what each dish was! Food was jus horrendous, cold chips and dry fish everyday Staff- A big shoutout to the two entertainment girls Zeynep and Suheyla, you guys made our trip amazing and was the reason we didn’t change hotels! You’re the best!! However 90% of staff do not speak English so it was difficult to communicate on basic things sometimes. Pool - pools were big and sunbeds where plenty but the pool was unbearable cold that no one was in them. I asked the manager if it is usually this cold and he said yes, a big let down considering how big the pool is! The sunbed area was very filthy, you could not lie down for 3 minutes without a fly landing on you. They had empty plant pots beside each sunbed so people could put there cigarette ash and rubbish but they seemed to just attract more flies! Beach was fun the sea was warmer than the pool! Overall not the best atmosphere for a couple of colour as the hotel is mainly Eastern European, me and my partner often got rude looks and sometimes looked at like a lion in the middle of the city so be prepared. Would not stay again and wouldn’t recommend!
