Eftalia Splash Review – Fantastic Family Holiday! We’ve just returned from 10 nights at Eftalia Splash as a family of four, with children aged 1 and 6, and honestly, we had an amazing time from start to finish. The hotel - the first thing that stood out was how clean the hotel is. No matter what time of day it was, there always seemed to be someone cleaning, tidying or maintaining the facilities. The effort the team puts into keeping everything looking its best really shows and helped make the whole place feel welcoming and well looked after. The slides and children's pool provided endless entertainment and the most the children queued at the hotel was 4 or 5 people (the island could be a little more). The kids are already asking to go back. Food - we were impressed with the variety on offer. As with any buffet-style restaurant, some dishes were more to our taste than others, but there was always plenty of good food available and something for everyone. I personally enjoyed the fish options and the various meats on offer. The desserts were fantastic, both in taste and presentation, and it was clear a lot of effort goes into them. The kids absolutely loved the waffles, pizza, chips, the ice cream at tea time, and never once struggled to find something they wanted to eat. As parents, that's always a big win! The Staff - were attentive throughout our stay and always happy to help. A few members of the team really went above and beyond with our children, making the effort to interact with them and helping them feel special. Those little touches make a huge difference and are something we’ll remember. The entertainment - was varied and there was genuinely something for everyone. Some shows were better suited to us than others, but the standout performances were definitely the Bubble Show, the Magician, and the House of Balance dance show. We also enjoyed spending time over at the island where there was always plenty going on. Eating Out & Local Recommendations We had breakfast one morning at the steak restaurant near Migros, which was a nice change and great for a more traditional English breakfast. We also spent an evening at Blue Shark Restaurant&Bar and had a brilliant night. The food was excellent, but what really made it was the atmosphere. One of those evenings where everything just comes together perfectly. Transfers we booked our transfers through Hakki Geçili and couldn't fault them. Communication was easy, they provided a baby seat for our 1-year-old, and the kids loved being able to watch TV programmes of their choice during the journey. Overall We absolutely loved our holiday at Eftalia Splash. If you're reading reviews and worrying about some of the negative comments, I'd say take them with a pinch of salt. Holidays are what you make of them, and there is more than enough here to give your family an amazing time. We made some fantastic memories, the kids had an absolute blast, and we'd happily recommend Eftalia Splash to other families looking for a fun, family-friendly holiday.

can’t give 4.8/5 but that would be a fairer rating than 4/5. Although it’s easily 2hrs from Antalya airport (book a private transfer or add at least an hour!) it’s worth it. On site water park is excellent, a real range of slides for all ages plus a main pool which has an inflatable run on Monday. Food, excellent overall. The food changes daily although you can always get beige stuff if that’s your thing. Staff really, really put in a shift. From bar to cleaning or entertainment teams, could not fault. Place was absolutely spotless everywhere public, regular rubbish clearances (the plant pot bins by each pool sunbed is a great idea!) and mopping etc by the pool is also done. WiFi excellent, good speed everywhere on the resort and the island. Lunch options are the restaurant or a pool snack bar with burgers, pizza, etc plus fresh made waffles or crepes. The island complex is well worth a look if you want water slides, but it is a bit cut throat for sunbeds. Food there excellent, the chicken donor was next level. At the main resort, sunbeds generally not a problem (no 5am madness here) and there is a stack of them around the place if you’re a bit later out of bed and the staff will help find an umbrella too. Evening entertainment has some good shows. Yes, mini disco is the same every night but we’ve had the same since probably 2016, with only minor changes to the song list! Slight negatives, and some of these are really slight: - drinks range really, really limited. Beer, wine, vodka, whisky and gin plus soft drinks (the cherry squash type thing from the machine is great though!). Cocktails and other spirits are for a fee. Even a token couple of cocktails would be welcome. - to take some pressure off the staff, a self-serve coke/sprite/etc might be worth a trial? Seen this elsewhere and it works well. That, or additional pumps and one more staff member as one poor guy had a line 30 long at points. - 23.00 cut off is a bit tight, especially as some of the bars close before this, despite being advertised as 23.00. That said, if you want a wild drinking session, this isn’t your place anyway. - really limited number of rings for the slides where they are needed. Maybe 5-7 at most. That was poor. They did allow personal inflatables on the tube/enclosed slides but not the drop in/slope one. That is a bit more extreme, so I can see their point, but seems a bit strange as well. - curtains are almost transparent. If you’re on the road side, bring a sleep mask if you’re a light sleeper or you’ll be up by 5.30/6 latest. If you’re poolside, it’ll buy you some more time, although the call to prayer may get you anyway. Can’t complain about the latter, it’s not my country. - food labelling is a bit hit/miss at times. Luckily we’ve got no allergies but it it was guesswork on some days as to what buffet stuff was. - similar, cakes etc look absolutely stunning but zero clue what they are. This led to a lot of wastage daily, which is a shame. - ice cream is 14.00-16.00 and is limited to the equivalent uk brand ‘feast’, which is covered in nuts. Very weak offering, although scoop ice cream was often at dinner. You pay for it otherwise, again, poor. - cleaners take a bit of a light touch. Towels are changed, bin is emptied and the floor gets a once over, but that’s about it. The balcony still had fluff/hair on it when we arrived. Hardly a world changer, but seems a bit of a shortcut. - shifting everything a bit earlier and maybe allowing a sort of disco for older kids would work Overall though, positives massively outweigh negatives. The points above really are 0.2/5 worth of rating. Would recommend, it also has the bonus (if you can say that) of shops and some bars within 5 mins. Watch though, the onsite shop may beat ‘best price’ on some things like clothing compared to down the street, which you don’t often say.
