Well what a amazing animation team at the hotel, they get everyone involved with the fun and continuously interact with the guest keeping us entertained and having a great time. Kouki is such a lovely girl and always goes out her way to talk to us all . Lovely girl and she is so energetic.

This is honestly one of the most difficult reviews for me to write. There are reasons why I'd like to give this hotel five stars and then there are reasons why I don't do that. This is honestly one of the most difficult reviews for me to write. There are reasons why I'd like to give this hotel five stars and then there are reasons why I don't do that. Let's start with the positive things. This hotel is clean. I mean really clean. The pool, the beach, our room, the buffet area, everything. I really appreciate that. There's enough staff and most of them are very friendly. We didn't always share the same language, but a friendly smile is worth more than words for me. The food is good and I'm sure everyone can find something to eat. Some are complaining that the food is not British but I have a surprise for you: this hotel is in Turkey! Then the part that makes me wonder how many stars I actually want to give this place. Smoking. It's okay to smoke by the pool and on the beach. In the buffet restaurant there are some non-smoking tables outside, but they are right next to the ones that allow smoking. So basically when you are eating outside or sunbathing, you will be surrounded by smoke. I honestly think that the hotel doesn't want to do anything for this although they have written nice answers to other reviews about this. The man who is leading the animation team smoked himself while working so why not continue the way they have chosen. Music. Loud music. I like music, don't get me wrong. I just don't like too loud music, especially when you can't predict what's the time and place for that. I saw people leaving night show at the amfi theatre because of the volume. Some days the music was very loud by the pool and some days (at the exact the time) it was just a nice background music - you never knew what you got. Even in Cocoon, where the music most often was quite ok it sometimes was very loud and the kind of music you want to have at the gym, not in a place where you are supposed to be able to relax. Not to mention that if your room is facing the pool, you'll hear all the music inside your room. For some reason it is even louder there than it's outside. But the worst part is one man from the animation team. Perhaps he was just tired, but I really felt bullied by him during our last day. It's okay and even fun to make jokes about our names and foreign languages. It's not fun to make jokes about our appearances or facial expressions. But ok, I'm an adult in my 40's, I can handle that and I can handle that he was laughing at my mistakes at the activity. I can handle that he couldn't answer my questions but made a joke about those. What I can't stand is that he made fun of my non-English speaking son, imitated him and the sounds he made. There are things in life that an adult just doesn't do and imitating (bullying) a child is one of those.
