Recently visited as a group of 10, grand parents, parents x2 and 4 Children aged 20 months to 11 years. We booked with Easyjet, upgrading to the premium package, we flew from Liverpool for a 7 day holiday. On arrival we were assigned 3 rooms in close proximity as requested, all on the 3rd floor of the newer hotel block 2. The rooms were spacious and well presented, the showers were a double size, and worked well, the cleaners visited regularly, you are able to assign a daily clean, using the red & green button situated near your bedroom door. Food choice was never a problem even for the fussier eater amongst us, plenty of restaurant choices throughout the day, perhaps breakfast was the biggest challenge, but once again choices are offered. Numerous restaurants we tried most of them except the al a carte option as its a proper ball ache to book. Drinks, our group preffered the free flow soft drinks, the beer was best at the large bar on the main complex, for cocktails and spirits the air conditioned bar off the reception area was best, if you could find seats. Kids club entertainment was varied throughout the week, and it was pretty much attend on a ad hoc basis. Kids entertain was repetitive, the 8:30 pm disco was the same tunes on a loop, even the kids got bored. Staff : Absolutely amazing, the lads and lasses are the Jewel in the crown, forget the blue shirt supervisors and tip, the waiters, cleaners and groundstaff and the bar staff, all polite, all welcoming, they were amazing. Hotel is great, the area not so great, but if it's sunshine, food, fun and rest, you will be made very welcome at the Royal Garden Beach Hotel. Family of 10 🇬🇧

So we have just left after spending two weeks at this hotel. So I’m going to give a honest review which will hopefully help some people. The positives: The hotel itself is stunning we had no problems with the cleanliness. I saw the pool being cleaned each night infact the workers were using small brushes to clean between the tiles at the edge of the pool. The staff we interacted with were all pleasant and we enjoyed participating in some of the extra activities that were offered at the hotel. My favourite being aqua jump. My kids enjoyed the slides. Plenty of sun loungers so no need to get up early and staff in the hotel did remove towels that were reserving loungers although it wasn’t consistent. The location was good close walk into the main strip in Konakli and a 20 min bus ride into Alanya which was 65TL each. There was a Nescafé bar on the beach which my son loved getting iced chocolates from and iced coffees were available too which were lovely. We never used the beach although did sit in the beach bar several times. The negatives: The food wasn’t fantastic. My husband and children are not fussy unlike me and some days even they struggled to find something to eat. I am fussy and lunch was definitely my favourite meal I’d swap between the rotisserie chicken or the pizzas. The food was often cold in the restaurants and the labelling of food was not great so beware if you have allergies. The drinks were fine although when asking for Coke Zero I was often given full fat which wasn’t ideal as I can’t tolerate the sugar so had to be careful with this. I did hear a few people moaning that British people were in the minority but this doesn’t bother us as we don’t go on holiday for this we like to embrace the different cultures. Overall I would return to this hotel as we all had a fab time.

We have stayed at Royal Garden Beach Hotel for the fourth time, and unfortunately this was our most disappointing visit. The rooms were barely cleaned, even though we left tips every day. We stayed on the 4th floor, while our friends stayed on the 5th floor, and the rooms on both floors were not cleaned properly. There wasn't even any hand soap provided. Cleanliness is extremely important, especially when traveling with children. The food was very repetitive, with little variety from day to day. The bistro offered almost nothing to choose from except salads, cheese, and soup. There was also a lack of fresh fruit and desserts. The entertainment program was the same every day, with nothing new or exciting. There were not enough activities for guests. The evening disco also played the same songs that have been played for the past four years. On the positive side, I cannot say anything bad about the reception staff or the restaurant employees. They were always friendly, welcoming, smiling, and provided excellent service. Considering the price we paid and the overall experience, I believe this hotel currently deserves no more than a 4-star rating. We sincerely hope these issues will be addressed because we have always enjoyed staying here in the past and would like to see the hotel return to the high standard it once had.
