We’re returning guests having stayed at the Ali Bey Resort three years ago when we stayed in the height of summer - temperatures were 40 degrees upwards, so we have always wanted to come back during a cooler period so we can enjoy it more without the overwhelming heat. We’ve just got back from our second visit - week two of the Easter holiday (UK) April 2026. It’s fair to say it’s been another fabulous holiday. - [ ] Excellent food and choice. Main restaurant is managed well so never feels overwhelming. Beach restaurant was great also. Snack bar, cake shop and branded ice creams available. - [ ] A great drinks range on offer - branded soft drinks and alcohol. Good cocktail menu. - [ ] Spa treatments were excellent. - [ ] Lovely staff, so many of which speak multiple languages very well. - [ ] Good entertainment considering it’s early in the season - a special mention to Setenay, Arda and Bora from the Entertainment Team who were so kind to our son, Freddie. He felt very special! - [ ] Great room - we upgraded as we did on our last visit to a very spacious 2 bedroom family suite which is well worth the extra money. It was cleaned every day to a high standard. - [ ] The grounds and pool areas are kept spotlessly clean. - [ ] Beautiful quiet beach. - [ ] Lifeguards on duty at pools and the beach. - [ ] The hotel takes its environmental responsibility very seriously which is always good to see. - [ ] The cats are well looked after and fed - this meant they aren’t too intrusive at meal times and look very clean and healthy! - [ ] The hotel feels like a tropical oasis with its tree lined paths and plants. We are already looking at dates for next year - we can’t wait to come back again. We visit Turkey every year, and have stayed in different areas and stayed in many 5 star hotels, and have found Ali Bey to be truly beautiful with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere compared to others. The weather hasn’t been as consistent as in previous Easter holiday visits - it’s been more unsettled on 2 of the days and cooler but the hotels large heated activity pool has meant that we’ve still been able to get outside and enjoy our time here. The Side area is much quieter, which we prefer, and a taxi ride from the hotel in to Side town centre takes 5 minutes and is €10 there and €14 back (6 people)- there are some amazing Roman ruins to see, plus lots of shops and bars/restaurants. Haggle prices wherever you go and cash is preferred. Some refused card altogether, preferring to turn down the sale. They also prefer Euros. If there was one bit of feedback, there has been some sort of tennis event (the hotel has a large number of tennis courts)… there were large groups of teenagers roaming around who I had many issues with - they were rude and disrespectful (throwing food in the restaurants, pushing my son out of the way at the water park, running around screaming late at night, trying to take one of our sun loungers that was only empty as my husband was in the pool but it did have his towel on!) - they appeared to have little supervision and did not care that they were disturbing others. That being said, we’ve had another great stay and love this hotel.

We stayed for 11 days from opening day, from start to finish the staff made this hotel special. We've stayed at lots of excellent hotels in Turkey, Canaries and the Med, but this excelled in terms of luxury and quality of staff. Everyone was friendly and engaging, making you feel relaxed and special. Cleaning was excellent, both in the rooms and around the grounds. The entertainment team were the best we've come across (despite many good experiences). It was low season and rotten weather even for March but the energy and attentiveness from the team made the holiday for us. The bar and restaurant staff were chatting, funny and knew your order. We like winter breaks and know the risks regarding weather but we were unlucky this time with 6 days of rain but I'd confidently return again next March and can't image enjoying a holiday so much in the rain anywhere else: the staff, entertainment, heated outdoor pool and patio heaters allowed us to make the most of the poor weather. We enjoy walking so the area was ideal for us, the walk along the beach into Side was always lovely, and it is a stunning place, but also the woodland and walks to the lake and river in the other direction were stunning too. There are lots of luxury touches, backed up by excellent quality food and selection of drinks, it's the best standard we have experienced. Outstanding hotel surrounded by stunning scenery, beautiful rooms, perfectly located right alongside the beach, loads of activities, great entertainment and wonderful staff. Huge choice of fantastic food, lots of eating and drinking opportunities. Impossible to fault.
