We’ve just returned from our first stay at Arnor Deluxe Hotel & Spa in Side, and it truly exceeded every expectation. I travelled alone with my two kids for 12 days, and it turned into one of the most memorable holidays we’ve ever had. The hotel is stunning — spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained throughout. The food was outstanding every day, with endless variety and full of flavour. The desserts were a real highlight — the fresh waffles and churros were delicious, and the baklava was absolutely irresistible. What really sets this place apart is the team. Every single member of staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly dedicated. They genuinely care about making your stay special, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. There was always something going on, and the entertainment kept us smiling from morning until night. The animation team brought so much energy and fun, especially with the children. A huge shoutout to Irem, who was fantastic — from face painting to dancing with the kids at the evening disco, she made such an effort and my children loved her. Elvis and Zous were brilliant too — full of humour and great fun to be around. Zous also spent time playing darts with my son, which meant a lot and made his holiday even more special. We were never short of things to do, and most days we were more than happy staying within the hotel. The magic show, acrobats, karaoke, and “men vs women” challenges were all so entertaining — I was laughing nonstop. A special thank you to Guler from housekeeping, such a kind and lovely lady who kept our room in perfect condition. The spa was another standout — hands down the best massage I’ve ever had and definitely worth experiencing. Cihan, our morning waiter, was always so friendly and welcoming, while Cakir in the evening was attentive and professional — both made every meal enjoyable. You can really see how hard everyone works to create such a positive atmosphere, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. This was an unforgettable trip for me and my kids. We’ve made memories to last a lifetime and will truly miss everyone. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed at this hotel from 30/3 to 09/04 2026. The weather was mixed throughout with thunderstorms on a couple of occasions. The main downside of the hotel was the noise and the impact on sleep. Directly opposite our window - see photo during a downpour – is a local club which plays loud music and has an announcer/PA into the small hours. The sliding doors in the room don’t seem well fitted and allow a lot of noise in. If you’re already booked, be sure to take ear plugs. The hotel itself is impressive to look at and makes a good first impression. We had a family room with two bedrooms and separate bathroom which seemed preferable to the standard rooms. The service you get is mixed. The restaurants in particular seem to have a staff to guest ratio that’s too low, the staff in there are working hard but have too many tables to cover so you will struggle to get a drink with your meal unless it’s from the self-serve machines. If you want an alcoholic drink with your meal it’s worth stopping off at the bar on your way in. It also means empty tables used by previous guests haven’t been cleared which slows things down. The bars were a mystery we never solved, a small percentage of guests seem to be able to sit down and have drinks delivered to the table, but the vast majority have to queue up. Positives: the hotel was very clean and the rooms were serviced daily by a lovely lady. The beach set-up is great with toilets, food and a decent bar. The mini-bus seemed to run very frequently though we just walked across the dual carriageway and made our own way there to get some steps in. I really enjoyed the food, there was loads of choice for each sitting. Location is great, old town is a 10-15 minute walk, don’t waste money on taxis if you’re mobile. I’d estimate the mix of guests as about 40% Russians 40% Germans and 20% UK. Everyone seems to get along though it does mean the staff’s English isn’t great despite it being the main language spoken in the hotel. They don’t show British football at the hotel, but the Serenade bar round the corner had it on. As the hotel was all inclusive, these were the only drinks we bought and the era of Turkey being cheap seems to be over – it was 20 euros for 2 beers, a Fanta and 2 teas. In summary: for most UK guests this won’t be a 5 star hotel. The Turkish star ratings are based on facilities, not the standard of service. I reckon it’s about a 3 star. If you value a good night’s sleep, it’s not for you.
