The hotel is good location is excellent food is ok only a few British mostly German but staff are very friendly overall for the price 4 out of 5 alcohol is only vodka rakiki and red and white wine Other than that all good very hot 35 Deg no rain at all

Went to Altinkum Bungalows in late September. We were three persons, and had booked a large room. The room where a nice size and it was cleaned 6 of 7 days. The bathroom was a bit small, and without any storage options except for hangers to the towels. Nice balcony, our room was placed on a 'palm avenue', and in the evening it was nice and quiet there. The food! Breakfast, not the biggest selection but we were not missing anything, some days the staff were standing outside and making ex. fried egg, but they quit making it around 9.30 and the breakfast was until 10, and they rejected to make more after that time (9.30) even though they had more eggs. That was not satisfying! Lunch and dinner, nice selection, and something for everyone. The food tasted good like it was homemade! And it was not the same everyday as you sometimes see in all inclusive restaurants. Disadvantages, - The bar was closing at 22.00, after that you could only get water, not even coffee! - The safetybox is located in the reception! - You have to rent a minibar, which means you can not have water cooled in your room! - The staff in reception is mostly communicating in German! One couldn't talk english at all.. I will consider going back to Altinkum Bungalowes, mostly because of the location of the hotel, right down to the beach. Oh the beach was lovely, no stones, just sand!

We booked one week holiday to stay at Altinkum Bungalows but we ended up to stay only 2 days. The little cottages were very sweet and the area / garden was nice made and clean. However, we had problems with the electricity in the cottage and could not load phones or use it otherwise, because each time the electricity turned off itself. Someone came to look at it, but nothing happened. Also the air-condition didn't work well, so it was very inside as the outside temperatures were over 30 degrees. Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all and there was not lot of choice. All inclusive isn't worth of it, so if you decided to stay here, prefer eat outside. The bungalow had small beach, but really small and not well taken care of. The location was excellent and the service was all right. However I'd choose something else for my holiday, but if you want just simple cottage just for sleep then it's fine.
