Ill start with the good stuff first, family from wales uk went to arrabella world hotel may - June 2026 Hotel room was lovely and clean and a tidy size for 2 adults 2 children, they did move us buildings as the aircon was rubbish in the first building (the hotel by the pool), and we moved into the hotel with the reception, staff were very helpful with this too. Pool was amazing, there are 3 slides which only come on between 10 until 12 then 2 until 4 and we all enjoyed, sun loungers are comftable and clean, and theres parasols to use aswel. Day time entertainment... theres a morning dance, darts, water polo, fitness and stretching amd shooting but absolutely nothing for children during the day which was frustrating as theres only so much of the pool the kids will enjoy before getting a bit bored. Bar staff soloman was outstanding and was very friendly outside by the pool and our diner service we called him sonic would bring our drinks to the table and remember our order which was also nice. We didnt visit the beach, we done a few excursions while away and highly recommend dalas rafting.. and off road buggies but these are extra prices Let's get to the bad bits Food was absolutely disgusting especially for uk visitors, For breakfast theres some mornings with pancakes, omelette, boiled eggs every morning, but there was cheese alot of cheese and deli meats, theres a toastie machine but be careful its like 20 years old and a bit temperamental, my children and us adults didnt enjoy food. Dinner times foods are always repetitive, and does not cater for English visitors... there is a snack bar which we ate at most of the time with burgers topped with lettuce gherkins tomatoes no cheese and they also do chips but again that gets really boring after a couple of days. Evening meals.. absolutely disgusting, theres fried fish with all its bones ect, the salads are nice but gets very busy, then the cooked foods are hit and miss the rice was okay but no curry to go with it, most of the meals were tasteless and if there's meat in it then be careful as there's sharp peices of bones. Also theres a lady that sits outside in the same chair and table every morning reminded us of a mafia boss and most of the hotel was Russian Turkish guests Evening entertainment was shocking, hotels ive been to as a child were amazing, this was far different and we found it boring apart from the Colombian dancing that was good but only lasted half hour, so we didnt end up going most nights, there is a kids club for little ones to dance, but again my 2 are 8 and 10 and were not interested as it was baby like. We would only go back if they catered more for English people food wise and there was more to do for the children of middles ages.. overall for our first holiday away there were some really good points and some really bad.. if your looking for a holiday with nice English, American, indain, italian or chinese food then this is not the hotel for you.. if the food was uo to stratch then we would be back 100% because of the staff but the food definitely let's the place down
