We have just returned from an 8 night stay and its the best family holiday we have ever had. There was so many things to do for our kids, and they absolutely loved all of the pools, slides and the beach. The food was always varied, and there is always a snack bar or late night food available. You really can't go hungry at this hotel. We ate in the Asian a la carte (9 euro each, kids ate free) which was delicious and very well presented. The experience is made even more beautiful as you are surrounded by large koi and tortoises in the pond, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We also ate in the Italian (11 euro each) and again, this was a wonderful evening, with amazing food while sat on an Italian style balcony overlooking the pools. We highly reccomend both of these restaurants, and kids eat off a separate menu with chips, goujons and other child friendly food. The whole experience at this hotel from start to finish was phenomenal and the resort is large, with entertainment going on until 11.30pm every night. Kids are so well catered for here, with kidsfest, foam parties, discos and shows. The evening entertainment shows in the amphitheatre were also good, and professionally performed. Every single member of staff that we had the pleasure to encounter at this hotel was friendly, welcoming and kind, from reception, house keeping, food and drinks staff, lifeguards, entertainers and the animation team. A big thank you to all the chefs who work here. It really didn't go unnoticed how your passion for food showed in its taste. Delicious, with every mouthful. We thank you all for such a wonderful time. We have agreed together as a family, that we will only use Limak resorts every year in the future, so we look forward to seeing you all again.

Honest Family Review – Limak Limra, Kemer 10-night stay | Two UK families | 3 children aged 5, 12 & 12 This is an honest review from two UK families travelling together. Between us we had three children aged 5, 12 and 12. We have stayed at many 5-star hotels across Turkey over the years, so we had a good idea of what we expected from a 5-star resort. This was our first time in Kemer, and while we had a good holiday overall, there were several things about Limak Limra that left us disappointed. 🏨 Large rooms & good housekeeping The rooms were very spacious and much bigger than some other hotels we’ve stayed in. Housekeeping was also good. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels were provided and the minibars were replenished daily, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the pillows, which we found quite firm and uncomfortable. If you prefer softer pillows, we’d recommend bringing your own. 🍴 Food was generally good We actually enjoyed the food. There was plenty of choice in the main restaurant and, between two families with three children, we could always find something everyone was happy with. However, the restaurant became extremely busy at peak times and the queues could be quite long. It could feel more like a busy canteen than the relaxed dining experience we’d expect from a 5-star hotel. 🏊 Great pools & facilities The pools and overall facilities are very good. There is plenty to do during the day and we particularly enjoyed the gym and yoga spin in the pool was good too. The resort itself is large, so there is plenty of space to explore and lots going on. 🏖️ Beautiful beach The beach is one of the highlights. It is a pebble beach rather than sand, but we actually really liked it. Having the beach directly next to the hotel is fantastic. The downside is that there aren’t really any food options on the beach. There is a bar, but the drink selection was quite limited and there wasn’t anywhere to get proper food or snacks, you had to to go to the pools areas to eat. 👧 Excellent kids’ club for younger children Our 5-year-old absolutely loved the slides and the kids’ club. The kids’ club team deserve a special mention. They were fantastic with the younger children and clearly worked very hard. Our 5-year-old had a great time and we felt very comfortable with the team. 🎭 Good evening entertainment The evening shows were enjoyable and there was generally a good atmosphere around the resort at night. There was plenty going on and the entertainment team did a good job. 👎 THE NOT-SO-GOOD 🍽️ Very disappointing arrival We arrived at around 9pm after travelling with three children and were disappointed to discover that there was no food available until 11pm. Drinks were available, but after a full day of travelling, having to wait until 11pm for food was extremely disappointing. For a hotel marketed as 5-star and all-inclusive, we expected there to be some sort of food option available for late arrivals. 🛏️ Unacceptable sleeping arrangements This was probably our biggest issue and spoiled the start of our holiday. One of our rooms was opposite the basketball court which was fine untill every early morning people bouncing a ball was annoying if you wanted to sleep! despite being a large room, the sleeping arrangements were completely unsuitable. There were two single beds and a chair, and we were apparently expected to have our 12-year-old son sleep on the hard chair bed. We found this completely unacceptable. After speaking to reception, I eventually managed to get a small single bed brought into the room the following day. The two single beds were also pushed together and made up as a double. Thankfully, we got it sorted, but we shouldn’t have had to fight for a proper bed for a 12-year-old in a 5-star hotel. 📱 Restaurant booking system doesn’t work The à la carte restaurants were another disappointment. We managed to visit the Chinese restaurant, which cost around €9 per person, and to be fair, the food was very nice, but no aircon it’s was very humid and no fans to keep you cool while you eat 🥵 However, we couldn’t book the other restaurants that were supposedly available to us. We were specifically told to check the hotel app after midnight to get availability. We did exactly that, but the app never showed any availability. We tried repeatedly and still couldn’t get a booking. For a 5-star hotel, we found this very frustrating. If restaurants are advertised as part of the experience, guests should actually have a reasonable opportunity to book them. 👦👦 Activities for 12-year-olds need improvement This was a major issue for our two 12-year-olds. There seemed to be plenty available for younger children and plenty for adults, but the 10–13 age group seemed to fall into a gap. The boys wanted to join some of the games and activities with the adults and their children but were told they should use the teen club instead. They did join the teen club for water polo, but the pool was too deep for them to properly get involved. We also felt that the person running the teen club became too involved in the games rather than simply organising or refereeing them. This made the activity less enjoyable for the boys. Eventually, we found ourselves having to create our own games and activities for them. For a family resort, we think this is something that really needs attention. 🫧 Foam party was disappointing We were looking forward to the foam party, but unfortunately it was a let-down. It lasted around 30 minutes and took place next to the pool rather than actually in the pool. It felt quite underwhelming and wasn’t really the fun foam party experience we expected. ❤️ Kemer itself – a big positive We absolutely loved Kemer. This was our first visit to the area and we were pleasantly surprised. The town centre and marina are lovely, with plenty of restaurants, shops and places to walk around. There are also lots of shopping opportunities. We really enjoyed getting out of the hotel and exploring Kemer, and for us this was a big positive of the holiday. ⭐️ WOULD WE RETURN? No, we wouldn’t personally return to Limak Limra. That’s not to say we had a bad holiday — we didn’t. We actually had a nice time overall. The resort has some really good features: great pools, beautiful beach, good food, excellent housekeeping, a fantastic kids’ club for younger children and plenty of facilities for adults. However, when comparing it with other 5-star hotels we’ve stayed in across Turkey, we don’t feel Limak Limra delivered the same level of service and organisation. The problems with the initial sleeping arrangements, lack of food for late arrivals, restaurant booking system, limited beach food options and activities for the two 12-year-olds all added up. ⭐️ Our honest rating Facilities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pools: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beach: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Housekeeping: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kids’ club (5-year-old): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Activities for 12-year-olds: ⭐️⭐️ Entertainment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ 5-star service overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Overall: 4/5 for the holiday, but closer to 3.5/5 as a 5-star hotel experience. We know everyone has different expectations and some families may absolutely love Limak Limra. This is simply our honest experience after 10 nights as two UK families with children aged 5, 12 and 12. Would we recommend it? Yes, but with reservations — especially if you have children around 10–13. Would we return? No. We enjoy exploring different areas and hotels in Turkey, and based on our experience, we’d choose somewhere else next time, that is a true 5 ⭐️ resort! We enjoyed our holiday, but for us, Limak Limra simply didn’t feel like the 5-star experience we’ve had at other Turkish resorts.
