This is honestly the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in, the service was impeccable all around from the moment we stepped off our coach! The staff are all so friendly and chatty, they quickly remember your drink order and bring it to wherever you’re sitting and complimentary snacks too 😋 We absolutely loved that there was 24 hour food and drink service with a bar that was open all night, the patisserie open until midnight then the bistro open from 12-7am. The room was stunning, everywhere was immaculate and the bed was super comfortable. We loved how the hotel treated the stray cats that visited the pool area, we saw about 15 different cats during our stay. Great for me as a cat lover, they even had purpose built ‘cat houses’ so cute! The only things we didn’t like were picky things that in no way overshadowed our stay. Having stayed in March a lot of the outdoor bars and the Al a Carte restaurants were closed.. we tried to book the steakhouse but we were just told “no bookings in winter” eventhough they were advertised as being open! We weren’t wowed by the indoor pool, it was supposed to be heated but it was hardly warm… albeit warmer than the outdoor pool!! The hot tub was most disappointing, not hot at all it was the same lukewarm temperature as the pool… Unfortunately staff didn’t pay much attention to the ‘do not disturb’ light outside, ringing the doorbell while we were asleep and ringing the room phone 🫣 A huge thank you to all the staff at Royal Wings, the entertainment staff were great guys.. shout-out to Karim! And Yusef one of the bar managers, so chatty and hilarious. We would love to return in the summer months to get the full experience. We can’t thank you enough ❤️🇹🇷

“It’s a class hotel”

Tried this hotel after a 10 year break and it was a real suprise to see it again after the refurbishment a few years ago, quality everywhere including the rooms which are very nice and have great sea views but walls are thin! Tried this hotel after a 10 year break and it was a real suprise to see it again after the refurbishment a few years ago, quality everywhere including the rooms which are very nice and have great sea views but walls are thin! Check in was very professional and friendly as with the bell boy Murat and Olsem guest relations. Service is ok mostly! Restaurant is a really relaxing experience and close to the food which is good and the food is really really good especially the soups 👌so well done chef, outside the gozlem tent is the best I’ve seen and flatbread/pizzas are amazing. Entertainment was the usual but the music was terrible all day every day around the pool remix, copied playlist songs which seems to be in every hotel now ( it’s depressing ). Overall a great hotel and I think we’ll be back!!

“more like 4 star”

This feels like maybe a four star hotel but certainly not a five. It looks fabulous and the pools are brilliant. However, we stayed in one of the family duplexes and they were very cheap in appearance with thin walls so you could hear everything and random little things were wrong like plug socke... more

This feels like maybe a four star hotel but certainly not a five. It looks fabulous and the pools are brilliant. However, we stayed in one of the family duplexes and they were very cheap in appearance with thin walls so you could hear everything and random little things were wrong like plug sockets at odd angles. We were *just* out of season too but the room was very hot (21c) and we didn't sleep until they finally put the air conditioning on mid week. We asked at reception and they just shrugged. It is also extremely noisy on that side as even though we were on the top floor you have the bar on the open floor underneath you. You can't open the windows either as there is a bar opposite. We also mentioned to air con to the lady who was asking about our experience and again it was shrugged off as she didn't seem to want to know unless we had good things to say. The food was nice with plenty of variety though the desserts were more presentation over taste. We loved the baklava though! Only two of the various restaurants were open because of the time we went which we didn't realise, but we weren't overly fussed--we just felt this should have been clearer when we booked. The best bit about the hotel was the main pool which was beautiful, a great size, with plenty of sun loungers, and access to the beach was great too. The little food stands were great for snacks if you didn't want to go in for lunch or were peckish. We appreciated the waiters coming around for your drinks orders regularly and most of them were efficient. The only other annoyance was the people from the shops in the bottom of the hotel coming around to try to sell you their goods. I don't want to be pestered while I'm in my bikini to come and get a tattoo. It's just not something I'd expect to be allowed in a 5 star hotel. The area around the hotel is just all shops with fake handbags in. It's fun at first but gets tiresome. If you're going in the summer, I imagine it doesn't really matter as you'd probably want to enjoy the pool all the time but it was a bit chilly occasionally and there wasn't much else to do. In comparison to other 5 star hotels we've stayed in this is the cheapest and had it been listed as a four star, we probably wouldn't have worried about the issues so much but we've definitely stayed in far far better hotels.
