This was the 4th time we've visited this hotel and this time there was a group of 11 of us including 4 children. I cannot believe the poor reviews on this place. It's as if they are reviewing a different hotel. The main reception area, including seating and a bar at the top of the stairs is beautiful. It provides a wonderful entrance on arrival. A lady in traditional Turkish dress is there to welcome you with drinks and turkish delight. The bell boys are helpful and bring all the luggage to the rooms. The rooms are modern, excellent condition (maybe on the small side) but perfect for what you need. The mini fridge fridge is stocked daily with drinks and snacks. The large pool area is great for adults and children. Our kids love to swim so the pools are great as well as the water slides. The kids club is really good at keeping them entertained, even until midnight which is almost unheard of in many places. Our kids don't use the kids club that often but it's nice if they want an hour out of the sun or in the evening, if they don't want to watch the live bands etc. The beach pontoon is currently being extended but there was still ample space and a lovely peaceful environment. There is a children's play area by the beach as well volleyball and pitches for football. Tennis Courts are available too. All equipment can be borrowed from the entertainment team. The Beach Bar and restaurant is lovely, with freshly cooked pizza's, meat and easy lunch options as burgers and hotdogs. It also has freshly grilled meats, fish and tons of fresh salad and fruit. The main restaurant is huge with so much choice that even the fussiest of eaters cannot complain, everything is fresh and replenished constantly. The al-a-carte turkish restaurant is fantastic and a really lovely evening, Food is served "tapas" style and in abundance. The balloon breads are a treat. There is also a smaller restaurant that provides a late breakfast option but also open throughout the whole night. There is a café/patisserie by the outdoor heated pool that serves fresh coffee, turkish ice cream and cakes. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor heated pool is very quiet if you do not like the activity by the main pool. The security is on top form and all guests are checked according to their passports upon every entry. So, entertainment - this hotel does not disappoint. There is something constantly. During the day, you can play water polo, many other competitive activities, aqua gym, pilates, bungee pilates. There are pool parties and foam parties that are so much fun. An inflatable assault course in the pool on certain days. The evening shows at the ampitheatre are second to none. You'd happily pay at home to watch those shows and they are on almost every night. There is live music on the main stage too. Plus you have the party nights where they really light the place up and the night club is booming. I'm a Travel Agent and have stayed in many locations, mainly 5 star and what this hotel offers for the cost of the holiday is amazing. All our family that we went with this year cannot wait to book back up and a trip for next year is currently being planned. I will say that most of the entertainment and packed schedules do not start until May and the months before a little lighter on the entertainment front. If you want to go into town for the shops, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and it costs 45p for a single ride. If you use a taxi, ensure that you agree the price before the ride. Not hotel related but we did the Jeep Safari tour which was amazing and the best fun-filled day with lunch provided in a local hillside traditional turkish restaurant.
