Great hotel and had everything we needed to keep everyone in our family happy. Plenty of food choices. Large pool area with shallow area, splash pool with small slides and three larger slides behind, walk further down then you are on the beach. The hotel can’t have been full - we never had to wait for a table or sun-beds. There is a lovely pier on the beach too. I would 100% recommend this hotel to others, especially at this time of year when the weather was great but the hotel not too busy. And I would be happy to visit again.

Like most people we read the reviews before we went. We arrived at 3am, checkin was quick and bell boy took us to our rooms. The rooms were a good size and very clean, we had tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. The items in fridge were replaced daily. The restaurant is a good size, there was no wait for tables and plenty of larger tables for families. Breakfast, there was everything you could wish for, omelette, fried egg, pancake and bread all cooked fresh. Cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurts, cakes I could go on. Lunch, there was an abundance of food available to meet anyones taste as was dinner. All food was labelled for all allergens which suited me as I have gluten free, there was plenty of choice for me. There is restaurant closer to beach serving lunch, ice cream for kids 12 until 4. There are 3 pool areas, large pool with kiddies section. Large splash pool the 3 waterslides pool. All clean with plenty of sun beds. Short walk down incline leads you to a nice sandy beach with pier, enjoyed jumping off end of pier.

I would not talk about the usual staff, many others have already done that! I will just point out what I personally found very annoying and what I would improve. The biggest problem I found was the soundproofing of the doors. The hotel has an open corridor, so you can easily hear a neighbor from the ground floor, although you are leaving on the 4th floor for example. Building B also has an indoor playground on the ground floor. You can even hear the children screaming as they play. The best time to rest is between midnight and 6AM. No chance to relax in the afternoon. I do not understand how it was possible to use such cheap doors in this case. We can just see the light from outside in our room and even hear people talking in whispers. Otherwise we had an excellent holiday. I cannot really comment on anything else. But the problem with the poor soundproofing makes you think twice about coming back here. TIP: I would not buy anything from the resort, very overpriced! I have just read a review by a lady called Stacy and I think her review of the hotel is pretty spot on. It’s a nice hotel that with a couple of tweaks could be so much better. My main issue was the food and felt that given the cost of the holiday the food didn’t reflect the star rating and although there was plenty and choice I felt the quality was missing. To put it into perspective I have been lucky enough this year to have had 4 holidays. All the same star ratings in different countries and this has come bottom for food. They did a Octoberfest when we were there that was great although we had no knowledge it was taking place until the inflatables went up and I had just had lunch but the food on offer was much better than any that I had consumed up to that point. The food for Italian night as we’re leaving to go to the airport-was better than other meals and I did notice there was lots of new faces that night amongst the staff so maybe there had been a changeover. I spoke with a couple of other Brits there who told me that the ala cart was a waste of money so didn’t bother. We were there to celebrate our Anniversary and my partners birthday and they knew in advance and also asked when I was checking in. I wasn’t expecting anything so wasn’t disappointed when we didn’t get a bottle of wine left in our room or any other kind of acknowledgment. Just one of those things. The room itself was ok,a bit tired and very little English channels on tv but wasn’t there to watch tv. The staff are hard working and most had a smile and I must single out the dancing cleaner late at night round the pool bar.She was fun. One of the waiters around the pool bar and later moved to the lobby bar was also very pleasant and helpful. Entertainment ok in parts. Enjoyed set by Mark Lewis. I don’t usually like his type of music but liked his enthusiasm and his interaction with the audience. His singing was good. Well done Mark. One thing that did put me off was the smoking. I appreciate the hotel cannot stop people smoking but when those sun beds are so close together and the person next to you thinks it’s ok to light up and chain smoke blowing it over in my direction it’s not ok. Outside part of dining area I don’t want to taste cigarettes when I’m trying to taste the food. I wouldn’t return to this hotel because of the disappointment with the food but I would return to the area and stay somewhere else.
