First ever cruise and was very impressed with quality of everything on the ship and the shows were first rate. The cabin was extremely sound proofed and all the service teams very friendly and easy to speak to as they all spoke English.
As only English speaking, we struggled with the many announcements which were only in German, except the safety ones. We feel we may have missed out on some of the activities going on, use of facilities and on excursions, where there was no Aida rep on as well as the Official Tour Guides, who mainly just spoke German. We were however, aware when booking that most of the passengers would be German,but think that a little more information in English wouldn''t be hard to incorporate.
