I was not expecting to have to pay VAT for every drink I had “on a free drinks package” - you really need to advertise it properly please - for this reason I withdrew my consent for NCL to take my service charge as well

The staff - the crew and the specialty restaurants especially Le Bistro.Our cabin steward was excellent - a lovely hard-working lady from Indonesia.
We found that engine fumes entered the cabin when we had the balcony door open, when the wind blew from the stern towards the bow.The air conditioning in our cabin was very noisy - we had it turned off completely. We did not fully appreciate/enjoy some of the shows.

All the crew around - so nice and helpful, always smiling and happy.
Transfer from Civitaveccia to Rome Train Station that we bought for our disembark suddenly became transfer to airport and THEN to Rome. So we boarded bus at 8-20 and in Rome we were only about 11 (includes waiting for 40 minutes for some late passangers). That''s not the quick and easy transfer we expected and next time I''ll prefer some local port shuttles.

Happy about cruising but not happy about not knowing anything happening in the world because wifi is so expensive.
