Renowned as the most famous attractions in New Zealand, Milford Sound is a fjord located in the southwest on the Southern Island of New Zealand. Found in the Fiordland National Park, within the Wahipounamu World Heritage site, Rudyard Kipling called Milford Sound the 8th wonder of the world. An underwater observatory offers visitors the chance to observe the black coral, which usually only found in deep water, as well as a wide variety of marine life.
