Korcula (Croatia)

The island of Korcula is situated in the Adriatic Sea, just off the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. Its coast is made up of more than 200 bays, golden beaches and small secluded coves. Said to the the Birth-place of Marco Polo, the island has rich history that can still be seen with its almost gothic, renaissance inspired medievil architechture. The town of Korcula is the cultural and commercial centre of the island offering visitors a range of resteraunts, bars and cafés as well as playing host to the Korkyra Baroque Music Festival.

Zadar (Croatia)

Is a city in the Dalmatian Region, in the modern Croatia, capital of the county of Zadar, in the centre of the country and infront of the islands od Uglian and Pasman, from which it is separated by the Zadar Strait. The different layers of the walls of the city, are the renaissance, baroque and gothic monuments, that prove the turbulent past of the city.

Trieste (Italy)

Trieste is a city and seaport in northeastern Italy. It is situated towards the end of a narrow strip of Italian territory lying between the Adriatic Sea and Slovenia, which lies almost immediately south and east of the city. Once a very influential and powerful centre of politics, literature, music, art and culture under Austrian-Hungarian dominion, its importance fell into decline towards the end of the 20th century, and today, Trieste is often forgotten as tourists head off to the big Italian cities like Rome and Milan. It is, however, a very charming underestimated city, with a quiet and lovely almost Eastern European atmosphere, several pubs and cafes, some stunning architecture and a beautiful sea view. Hvar (Croatia)

Hvar is the largest of Croatias islands located in the Adriatic Sea. With its warm "mediterranean" type climate, spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches it's no wonder this island is one of the most popular destinations of the Croatian Coast.

Dubrovnik (Croatia)

Dubrovnik is situated on the Adriatic Sea coast in the extreme south of Croatia, at the terminal end of the Isthmus of Dubrovnik, Nerevta country. Places to visit: Lokrum is an island in front of Dubrovnik and because it takes only 15 minutes by ferry to get there from the Old Town it is a popular destination for both tourists and locals. Zaton, another place to find natural peace and beauty, it takes 20 minutes by bus to get from Dubrovnik to Zaton. Saranda (Albania)

Capital of the district of Sarande, Saranda in Albania is one of the most important attractions in the Albanian Riviera. It is opposite the Greek Island of Corfu and very near the ruins of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Argostoli (Kefalonia island)

Argostoli is a town and a former municipality on the island of Kefalonia, Ionian Islands, Greece. Argostoli developed into one of the busiest ports in Greece, leading to prosperity and growth. To the east of Argostoli, at the end of the bay, beneath the aforementioned Castle of St. George, sits the Koutavos Lagoon, a feeding ground for the Loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta). Now a nature reserve, the Koutavos Lagoon was once an almost impassable swamp where mosquitoes and malaria were rife. Under the British governor of the island, a wooden bridge was constructed across the lagoon.

Katakolon (Greece)

Alexandria (Egypt)

Limassol (Cyprus)

The city of Limassol is the second largest in importance after Nicosia, it is located on the south coast of the country, known by many as a seaside resort, as it offers a great variety of services of that kind. It is also known for the animated night life and for the wine festival that the celebrate every year.

Antalya (Turkey)

Antalya is a city on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey. It is Turkey's biggest international sea resort, located on the Turkish Riviera. Antalya is in south-west Anatolia, on the Mediterranean Gulf of Antalya, approximately 339 mi from Ankara, 349 mi from Adana, 290 mi from Izmir, and 452 mi from Istambul. The Taurus mountains of southern Anatolia runs parallel to the Mediterranean in an east-west direction, resulting in the formation of narrow coastal plains surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on the fourth. Some parts of the coast feature mountains plunging sharply into the sea, forming small natural bays and peninsulas. Antalya is situated on one such plain where the mountains recede from the shore, consisting of two flat areas formed of travertine rock at a mean height of 115 ft; the citycenter is on the rocky plain closest the coast, with urban sprawl extending to the Kepezüstü Plain further inland.

Kos (Greece)
