Rosyth

Rosyth is a port city in Fife, Scotland. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century to house the workers in the nearby Rosyth naval shipyard. The town is the terminus of Scotland's only direct ferry connection to continental Europe. The Rosyth Port Terminal is a modern purpose-built facility with good amenities, including seating areas, toilets and telephones for cruise passengers waiting to board. Praia da Vitoria (Azores)

This unspoilt and wild island is the third largest island in the Azores archipelago. With many picturesque towns, churches, springs, caverns, lakes and pastures, it brings peace to anyone that has the privilege to visit. Praia da Vitoria, with a sheltered natural harbour and a modern marina, was named after the Battle of Praia Bay when the Miguelists were defeated on the beach by Portuguese loyalist troops in 1829.Visit the naturally formed volcanic caves (Algar do Carvão and Gruta do Natal) on the interior of the island. Horta (Azores islands)

A hugely popular meeting point for intrepid yachties travelling across the mighty Atlantic Ocean, look out for swish private yachts as you cruise into Horta. It was also the favourite stopping-off point for 1930s transatlantic flying boats, as recorded in the fascinating Horta museum. Horta is the capital of Fayal, one of the smallest of the nine remote Azores islands which are 760 miles away from their parent country, Portugal. There is some superb scenery as you tour the island, discovering sheltered bays and hidden coves but, for the most breathtaking views, head for the huge volcanic crater, Caldera.

Ponta Delgada (Azores)

ponta Delgada is the capital od the Azores Islands, a portuguese archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. The historical neighbourhood of Ponta Delgada is lcoated behind the Avenida do Infante dom Enrique, a large avenue with paved sidewalks in black and white that surrounds the port. The tangled streets are beautiful and inspired in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.

Lisbon

The city of Lisbon is rich in architecture; Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Baroque, Modern and Postmodern constructions can be found all over Lisbon. The city is also crossed by historical boulevards and monuments along the main thoroughfares, particularly in the upper districts. There are several substantial museums one can visit in the city. In addition, the mosaic Portuguese Pavement was born in Lisbon, in the mid-1800s. The art has since spread to the rest of the Portuguese Speaking world. The city remains one of the most expansive examples of the technique, nearly all walkways and even many streets being created and maintained in this style.

Porto is the second most important city in Portugal, after Lisbon. Porto is an old city that has many historical heritage sites, although during the last decades is has been modernized. It has the longest underground line in Portugal, that covers not only the centre of the city, but also the metropolitan outskirts such as Senhora da Hora or maja. The old town is included in the UNESCO world heritage site. Some of it's most important monuments are: Mercado do Bolhao, teh Cathedral, the Clerigos Church and Tower, the Crystal Palace, the town hall and the bridges over the Duero river. it is also known for the grandeur, innovation and beauty of it's bridges, dated in diferent seasons and of different architectural styles.
