The Drachenfels (Dragon Rock), Drachenfelsbahn (Dragon Rock Railway) and Drachenburg castle are popular attractions as well as the ruins of Heisterbach Abbey, which used to stand at the foot of Petersberg Mountain and was destroyed in 1803.
