Endless beaches surrounded by nature. This is what is on offer in L'Hospitalet de l'Infant i la Vall de Llors. A destination that is noted for its natural coastline and crystal clear waters.
It has four beaches, some of which are almost untouched, with fine, golden sand. More than 12 km of coastline offer a wide range of options for outdoor sports for the whole family. For example, kayaking, paddle surfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, windsurfing, sailing, banana boats, hydrofoils, jet skis... It also has a nautical base and marina, a perfect combination for those who love water activities.
L'Hospitalet de l'Infant i la Vall de Llors also stands out for its incredible landscape where the sea and the mountains merge in the same place. The many hiking and cycling trails can be found in close proximity to the beaches. It is a hiking paradise with a network of paths and forest tracks of about 180 km. To take advantage of this natural asset, up to 16 different itineraries have been created, many of which have a family and recreational character, such as the blue trail of the 'Jonquet'. On these routes you can get to know the small inland villages of the municipality, where you can discover a rural world that contrasts with the coastal towns.
But as well as nature, sea and the mountains, this region also offers a remarkable cultural heritage. Experiences such as visiting the Gothic hospital, founded in 1344, walking among the Civil War fortifications of the Coll de Balaguer or tasting olive oil at the interpretation centre of the old Vandellòs mill. You can also see the Hifrensa settlement, the last industrial colony in Catalonia, or stroll through the abandoned streets of the medieval village of Castelló.
L'Hospitalet de l'Infant i la Vall de Llors is, all in all, an ideal place to enjoy with the family due to the tranquillity of its quiet, uncrowded sandy beaches, the quality of its waters and the many outdoor leisure options.
