It serves all the main tourist resorts and towns along the coast, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Calahonda , Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona. This airport has 3 terminals, Terminal 1 is hardly used anymore and Terminal 2 and 3 are connected internally. Departures are divided between T2 and T3. Several bus lines connect the airport to the centre of Málaga, nearby towns and various Andalusian cities. Estimated travel time: 15 minutes to the centre of Málaga. A suburban train line connects the T3 with several key locations on the Costa del Sol: Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Torremolinos and Málaga centre. .
