Malpensa International Airport (MXP) is Milan’s largest and one of three major airports in Milan with over twenty million passengers passing through its terminals every year. The other two airports in Milan are Bergamo Airport and Linate Airport. There are regular buses that provide travelers with shuttle services between the three airports. There are two terminals at Malpensa (T1 and T2) which are relatively far apart from each other but are serviced by a regular shuttle bus which runs every twenty minutes. Located 25 miles from central Milan, the airport is reachable from Milan by the Milano-Varese motorway. There is also the Malpensa Express train which leaves from the Milan Cadorna railway station and takes approximately forty minutes to reach the airport. One of two airports serving the Romanian capital, the other being Baneasa, it is named after Romanian flight pioneer Henri Coanda, builder of Coanda-1910 aircraft and discoverer of the Coanda effect of fluidics. Until May 2004, the official name was Bucharest Otopeni International Airport, which remains the name by which it is generally known.  The military section of the airport is currently used by the 90th Airlift Flotilla of the Romanian Air Force.
