Reus Airport has buses that connect with the main provincial capitals such as Reus and Tarragona; the main towns on the coast, including Salou, Cambrils and La Pineda; and finally Barcelona. Taxi and car rental services are also available.
Barcelona Airport is located 80 kilometres from the Costa Daurada and is served by intercontinental, international and domestic airlines.
Barcelona Airport has buses that connect directly with Tarragona, El Vendrell, Calafell and Barcelona. Taxi and car rental services are also available.
BUS
The cities of Tarragona and Reus have bus stations, from where regular bus lines operate to connect the regional capitals with the rest of the cities in the surrounding areas and the Costa Daurada, as well as to cities in Spain and the rest of Europe.
BY ROAD
Two motorways cross the Costa Daurada, the AP-7 and the AP-2. The first, the AP-7, known as the Mediterranean motorway, runs from La Junquera to Alicante, while the northern motorway connects the Basque Country with Barcelona via Tarragona. There are also other roads that cross the Costa Daurada, such as the C-32 as far as Ventrell, the N-240 that links the Costa Daurada with Lleida and Zaragoza, as well as the N-340 that connects Girona with the Spanish Levante, following the coastline.
BY RAIL
The Costa Daurada has a high-speed train station. It is the Camp de Tarragona station, with a stop for AVE and Altária trains and is connected by bus with Tarragona and also with a taxi rank. RENFE, meanwhile, also has stations on the conventional rail network in practically all the towns on the Costa Daurada.
