Hotel Smy Costa del Sol is 10 minutes away from Torremolinos, the town in Malaga that was the first tourist destination in lively Andalusia, a region known for being literary inspiration, film set, hippy birthplace and inexhaustible source of festivals and cultural events. In addition to the airport, the Plaza Mayor shopping centre and a golf course, its proximity to the Guadalhorce Natural Park is an undeniable attraction. This area of high ecological value that has options for hiking and bird watching is found at the mouth of the river that gives it its name, on an island of 122 hectares created by the bifurcation of the river's waters.
