Overall the hotel is very nice. It’s in a wonderful location within walking distance of most things of interest in the city. The young woman who was there when we arrived in the morning was polite, but not terribly friendly or helpful; the young woman who was there later in the day was better. It was irritating that they wanted 25 euros to check in early even though she acknowledged the room was ready and the hotel was nowhere near full – we took a pass. Our room was on the small side and the only seating in our double room was one hard chair. We would have had a beautiful view of the Namazgah Mosque, right across the street, but the goofy shutters wouldn’t open enough to allow for a view, or for any daylight to penetrate the room. The bathroom was ok – minimal space for toiletries and not enough hooks/bars for the towels. And the towels were more like heavy tea towels – not an absorbent terry. But the shower was nice with good water pressure. Laundry services were very expensive, and they did not provide complimentary bottled water like most hotels here. Breakfast was a nice buffet with eggs cooked to order. There was a nice rooftop terrace with lovely views and terrible wine. It’s run by a third party and service was not great; the woman bartender was especially surly. The a/c was quite good, which we appreciated. One real problem here is that there’s no place to sit and perhaps play a game and have your own beverage. The room had no viable sitting space, the rooftop bar requires you to buy something if you’re going to sit there, and there’s nothing else. Some nice public space to hang out would be a good addition to the property. We’d probably return given the location, but I might look for an alternative in the same area.

Very good location with walking distance to all attractions. Spacious rooms and good bed. AC. If you choose city view be prepared that it is very noisy, traffic, mosque, etc Very nice roof top bar

This is a good option for a centrally based hotel. It's described as 4 star but it's more like a UK 3 star hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. Everything you need. The breakfast buffet options weren't as extensive as some hotel offerings but it provided hot and cold dishes and service was good. The hotel is on a busy junction so there's is a lot of traffic noise which seems constant but that's to be expected in the centre of the city. The view of the mosque oppostite is beautiful and the roof top bar is a lovely place to relax. For value for money and walking distance to the main square etc it's a safe bet.
